My brother, we never had the chance to sit down and talk again. We never got the opportunity to discuss family matters, share our thoughts, laugh together 😊, joke, and enjoy the precious moments we once shared. It is painful and heartbreaking 💔 to know that you are no longer with us.
After the loss of our elder brother 🕊️, this is yet another painful blow to our family. Losing you has left a void that words cannot describe. My heart is heavy 😢, and it is difficult to accept that you have departed from this world so soon.
You worked tirelessly throughout your life, sacrificing and laboring for a better future. It is painful to know that you did not fully live to enjoy the fruits of your hard work. Yet, your legacy of dedication, kindness, and perseverance 🌟 will forever remain with us.
You will be greatly missed by the Dilla family, the Homes family, the Jones family, your friends, loved ones, and all those whose lives you touched. 🤍 Your absence will be felt deeply, but your memories will live on in our hearts forever. ❤️
As we mourn your passing 😭, we pray that God 🙏 grants your soul eternal rest and gives strength and comfort to all who are grieving. Though you are gone from our sight, you will never be forgotten.

Former Representative Isaac Roland Blalu Injured; Wife Dies in Tragic Hotel Fire in India
Former Maryland County District #3 Representative Isaac Roland Blalu has suffered a devastating loss after his wife tragically died in a fire outbreak at a local hotel in New Delhi, India.
According to reports, Mr. Blalu traveled to India to seek medical treatment, accompanied by his wife, who was caring for and supporting him during his stay.
The couple was staying at Flourish Stay B&B when a fire reportedly broke out on June 3, 2026, at approximately 8:00 a.m. local time. The incident is said to have claimed the lives of at least 21 people.
International media reports indicate that among the victims were 18 foreign nationals, making the tragedy one of the deadliest hotel fires recorded in the Indian capital in recent years.
Sadly, Mrs. Blalu was among those who lost their lives in the disaster. Mr. Blalu survived the blaze but reportedly sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the incident as "tragic" and extended his condolences to the bereaved families. In a statement, his office expressed sympathy for all those who lost loved ones in the fire.
Preliminary reports suggest that the hotel may have lacked adequate safety measures, including limited entry and exit points and poor ventilation, factors that may have contributed to the severity of the tragedy.
The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Information, has confirmed the incident and extended heartfelt condolences to the Blalu family during this difficult time.
Authorities in India are continuing their investigation into the cause of the fire.

WE NEED JUSTICE FOR THIS 3-MONTH-OLD BABY 💔😭
Public concern continues to grow following reports that a 3-month-old baby underwent an arm amputation at JFK Medical Center after developing severe complications from a medical procedure allegedly performed at James Davis Hospital in Monrovia.
According to the family, the baby's hand and arm reportedly turned black after an injection or IV procedure, resulting in serious complications. The child was later transferred to JFK Medical Center, where doctors allegedly had to amputate the arm in an effort to save the baby's life.
Note: The first image shows the baby after the amputation procedure at JFK Medical Center.
This heartbreaking incident has raised serious questions about patient safety and the quality of medical care. Many citizens are calling for a thorough, independent investigation to determine exactly what happened, ensure accountability where necessary, and seek justice for the child and family.
METRO MEDIA joins the call for transparency and urges government authorities, civil society organizations, child rights advocates, and healthcare regulators to closely monitor the case and support the affected family.

My people, please listen carefully to what I am about to say. People of Bomi County especially Zordee Town.

This is Zordee Public School a school located in the hometown of the current Deputy Minister of Education Mr. Amose A. Fully This is also the same town where the former County Education Officer comes from. For 12 years under Madam Sirleaf and the Unity Party government, this town stood firmly behind its leaders and supported them wholeheartedly.
Today, under the current government, we have a Deputy Minister of Education from this very area a man entrusted with helping to oversee education in the Republic of Liberia. Yet, sadly, the condition of Zordee Public School is heartbreaking his home Town.
The school is in such a deplorable condition that children cannot even learn comfortably. The environment is not safe or conducive for education. Even students from Monrovia would hesitate to attend a school in such poor condition.
Why should leaders treat their own people this way? Why should the very community that produced and supported these leaders continue to suffer?
This is also the same town that contributed greatly through votes and support to bring the current representative, Bishop Johnson into power. Yet government schools in Bomi County including this one Zordee Public School remain neglected, and our children are left to struggle in unacceptable learning conditions.
It is painful to see leaders from Bomi County focus only on themselves and their families while forgetting the people who sacrificed and voted for them. This is not leadership. This is injustice to the very people who helped place them in positions of authority.
The children of Zordee deserve better. The people of Zordee deserve better.
Education should never be neglected.
