PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) is pleased to inform the general public that registration for the 2026–2027 academic year is currently in progress and will close on October 3, 2026.

Orientation for both returning and new students will be held on October 5, 2026, while classes will officially resume on October 6, 2026.

In full compliance with the Government’s Free Tuition Policy, as announced by the Ministry of Education, the MCSS wishes to inform the public that tuition is free from Kindergarten/Early Childhood Development (ECD) through Grade 6.

The approved fees for secondary education for the 2026–2027 academic year are as follows:

● Junior High School (JHS): LRD 3,000 for the entire academic year.

● Senior High School (SHS): LRD 3,250 for the entire academic year.

These fees cover, among other things, the student identification card, P.E. uniform, and insurance.

By directive of the Superintendent, Dr. Augurie E. Stevens, all caretakers are respectfully requested to report to their respective areas of assignment effective September 22, 2026, to assist with preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This directive is intended to ensure that all schools are thoroughly cleaned, tidied, and properly prepared for reopening on October 6, 2026.

Meanwhile, the in-service workshop for all MCSS security personnel is scheduled for September 24–25, 2026, at William V. S. Tubman High School, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

The Administration appreciates the cooperation, dedication, and commitment of all stakeholders as we work together to ensure a successful and productive 2026–2027 academic year.
