Executive Mansion update ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ท

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Executive Mansion have observed with serious concern the growing number of
reports of individuals falsely claiming to represent the Executive Mansion or senior officials.
These impersonators are contacting members of the public, making false promises of employment, and soliciting money or favors in exchange.

The Executive Mansion wishes to make it abundantly clear that:

1. No official of the Office of the President, the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, or any member of the Presidentโ€™s team will ever call, text, or approach anyone to solicit money, gifts, or gratuities in exchange for employment or favors.

2. Employment and appointments are handled strictly through official government processes and are never based on personal payments or private arrangements.

3. Anyone found impersonating an official of the Executive Mansion or engaging in such fraudulent acts will be prosecuted and dealt with in accordance with law.

The public is therefore strongly advised to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to these
scams and to also report such matter to the Liberian National Police (LNP) or the
Executive Protection Service (EPS).
The Executive Mansion is committed to protecting the integrity of the Office of the President and safeguarding the public from fraud.

Signed:
Atty. Kula Bonah Nyei Fofana
Presidential Press Secretary

Nimba County District #4 Representative Ernest Manseah is asking whether any Liberian company besides Srimex, owned by Rep. Bility, is involved with the storage tanks. If not, he questions why Bility claims the government is targeting his businesses.

He also asks if the decision to reduce petroleum storage fees came from the presidential committee recently led by the Vice President.

Rep. Manseah clarifies that this is not an attack on Musaโ€™s political career. He explains that a real political attack is when someone:

Goes to Lofa and says President Boakai has done nothing for his people.

Goes to Nimba and says they will remove all current lawmakers.

Leaves Nimba District #7 and goes to Margibi, claiming they will remove Rep. Emmanuel Nuquay.

Goes to District #5 in Nimba to start a bridge project without informing Senator Kogar.

Comes to his district to launch a project he already mentioned publicly, without inviting him as a colleague.

Musa think lying on the government will buy him favor

First it was Emmanuel and now it's Jefferson ๐Ÿ‘‡

A 50-year-old man, Jefferson Gaye of Grand Gedeh County, found L$420,500, a power bank, and an ID card on September 14 while traveling. After searching for the owner, he was contacted by a Ghanaian national who proved ownership. Gaye reported the matter to Representative Jacob C. Debee, who arranged a formal handover on Saturday, September 20, and promised to honor Gaye for his honesty. The community has praised him for his integrity.

Update ๐Ÿ‘‡

Residents of Solo Village, River Cess County, are appealing to the government to address their conflict with Bea Mountain Mining Corporation. They accuse the company of exploring within their community while ignoring pressing needs such as poor roads, lack of a health center, unsafe drinking water, and weak GSM coverage. Villagers allege company workers dismissed their concerns, saying โ€œthe government is in their pocket.โ€ Attempts to get Bea Mountainโ€™s response were unsuccessful, as company officials declined to comment. The residents are urging swift government intervention to prevent the situation from escalating.

Update ๐Ÿ‘‡
Police IG Gregory Coleman clarified that the minister has not been arrested but is currently under investigation. Other officials, including deputy ministers, are also being questioned, with the court requested to release call logs for verification.

DNA testing will be conducted, with assistance sought from the U.S. Embassy for foreign analysis.

Coleman urged the public to remain patient, noting that the LNP aims to build a strong case for successful prosecution rather than rush into an arrest.
