Dr. Lester Tenny Blasts former Rep. Acarous Gray for Mocking Wilmot Paye's Financial Struggles
MONROVIA – Dr. Lester Tenny has sharply criticized Montserrado County Representative Acarous Gray for allegedly mocking former Unity Party chairman Wilmot Paye over reports that he sought financial help from sanctioned former CDC official now Senator Nathaniel McGill.
In a strongly worded social media post, Tenny wrote, “I listened to a zombie-like coelenterate called Acarus Gray, who lamented that Wilmot Paye was frequent at the notorious sanctioned McGill house begging for handout.”
He argued that financial hardship in Liberia is the result of corrupt leadership and manipulation by people like Gray. “Let me remind the Lilliputian Gray that… the likes of Wilmot Paye must honestly survive, even by requesting handout,” he said, adding, “The last time I checked crimes, I couldn't locate where begging was in any category.”
Tenny also said that accepting help from corrupt individuals doesn’t absolve them of wrongdoing. “The beauty of requesting assistance from thieves is that it doesn't remove the aura of guilt from the thieves but instead compile evidence on the existence of thief,” he stated.
He concluded by calling for national liberation from corrupt figures he described as “accidental historical figures” and “ancylostoma helminthes,” arguing that only then can Liberia’s “lifeblood” be restored.
