On May 26, 2023, I experienced a devastating betrayal that shook my world. Two months before our wedding, my fiancé, Mike, cheated on me with my best friend, Liz. For months, they deceived me while I supported them financially and emotionally. The discovery left me heartbroken and paralyzed.

However, I gathered my strength and planned my next steps. During a business trip, I received a photo from my sister, Emily, showing Mike and Liz openly displaying their affair at the same café where Mike and I had our first date. This blatant disrespect was a gut punch.

I took swift action to protect myself and my assets. I consulted our family lawyer to secure my apartment, belongings, and finances. I also ensured Mike had no claim to our four dogs and cut off his access to our shared accounts.

As I executed my plan, I realized I needed a fresh start. I rescheduled my business meetings and temporarily moved into a new apartment. With the help of my mom and sister, I packed my belongings and changed the locks.

The subpoena requests Mayor Koijee to produce an employee named Varlee Telleh, who is believed to have information about a telephone number used between February 21st and 25th of this year. Additionally, the court has requested Orange and Lonestar GSM Companies to provide the call log for the number 0777142133 and track the phone and its user.

•Nathaniel McGill, the newly elected Senator of Margibi County, denies owning properties in Dubai and the Middle East. Stanton Whetherspoon, former CEO of Spoon Network, accused McGill of owning a structure in Dubai. However, McGill has invited the Liberian government to seize his property if it can be proven that he owns it. Furthermore, he has challenged Whetherspoon to provide documentary evidence for a thorough investigation.

•The World Bank has lifted its suspension on Liberia's access to "unwithdrawn" loans after the country cleared all of its overdue payments. The Bank had previously suspended Liberia's access to these loans due to the country being 60 days overdue on its debt repayment. However, the Bank has now confirmed that Liberia has made all the necessary payments and is now up to date on its payments.

•President-elect Joseph Boakai is visiting the United States and has appointed Vice President-elect Jeremiah Koung to handle the Joint Presidential Transition Team. Boakai will hold consultations with stakeholders in Liberia's political process, including the Unity Party in America and Canada, to express gratitude for their support. He will also visit family members during his time in the US. The visit comes as preparations for Boakai's January 2024 inauguration are underway.
