The Global Action for Sustainable Development-GASD and partner Institute for Policy Evaluation & Research will hold a one day Validation Workshop on the Liberia National Youth Policy Evaluation Report slated for Friday, November 18, 2022 commencing at 10:00AM in the conference room of IREDD on 16th Street in Sinkor. The validation workshop is part of the Liberia National Youth Policy Evaluation Project fully funded by Action Aid Liberia.

The National Youth Policy Evaluation Project is a comprehensive review, analysis, tracking, and evaluation of the 2019-2023 National Youth Policy and Action Plan of Liberia. The exercise seeks to document gains that have been made in the youth sector of Liberia as a result of implementation of the NYP. Throughout the evaluation, emphasis was placed on analysing the total investment the Liberian government and its development partners have made to the youth sector and how those interventions have stimulated youth empowerment programs across the country. As the first evaluation exercise since the policy came into existence, the process lays a foundation for policy makers to take corrective measures from pitfalls, missing links, and challenges experienced from the formulation and implementation of the National Youth Policy of Liberia.
