Please be informed that the Public Consultation on the establishment of the Proposed Kwa National Park has commenced.

Spanning across Rivercess, Sinoe and Grand Gedeh Counties, when passed by the national legislature, the 214,226 hectares Kwa National will be the biggest Protected Area co-managed under the Co-Management regime emphasizing Liberia’s success in integrating (FPIC) and (RBA), guaranteeing rural communities participation in Protected Areas Management.

As a country, we anticipate obtaining inputs from all stakeholders - on , , , , , and many other critical issues in an effort to safeguard Liberia’s critical natural asset.

Big congratulations to everyone and all partners who have worked so hard to get the Proposed Kwa National Park to this stage. Let’s aim to get it across the finish line.
