The National Muslim Council of Liberia expresses profound shock and deep sorrow upon receiving news of the passing of Amb. Sylvester M. Grigsby, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs.

The Council describes Minister Grigsby as an astute statesman, and a close allied to the National Muslim Council of Liberia. He served his country with integrity and distinction. He will be missed by many including the Council.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the grieving family of the late Minister, the staff of the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, and all Liberians who had the privilege of working with or knowing him.

The Islamic Adviser to H.E President Joseph N. Boakai, Alhaji Sekou Sheriff is in shock and heartbroken over the death of his friend and senior colleague Hon. Sylvester Grigsby, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and the Chief of Staff to the President of Liberia.

He express heartfelt sympathy and condolences to his family and the government of Liberia. He pray that he rest well.
