PUPA Daily Mail

Why is Amara Konneh so interested in Sekou Dukuly staying at the port? We cannot say that he is doing it based on tribal reasons, as Amara is not noted for protecting anyone's interests, including members of his community; he protects his personal and selfish interests. Again, why did he undermine his own kinsman by recommending his dismissal as co-chair of the NPA Board and replacing him with his buddy, Siafa Hage? More detail loading...

PRESS RELEASE

11th day of September 2019

The Vice President/West Africa of the All Africa Students' Union (AASU) wish to condemn the unjustifiable killings of African Nationals in South Africa and outrightly recommend sanctions against the Republic of South Africa Students by the Executive Committee of AASU.

Distinguished members of the Press, students across the African continent, fighters in the people’s liberation struggle, our fellow Africans struggling for life in South Africa, cadres and militants, conscious comrades, we bring you greetings from the ALL AFRICA STUDENT UNION (AASU)

As part of our revolutionary mandate as a radical and Pan African students’ movement representing the dreams and aspiration of the African students on the continent, we want to categorically condemn the barbaric Xenophobic killings of our African brothers on the soil of South Africa. We believed that such a brutality and cruelty meted against our black brothers contravenes the essence of the Pan African struggle and African Unity against those very neo-colonial imperialist forces that held down the development of our continent.
The unabating burning and mindless looting of fellow African businesses and properties by the South Africans is bizarre and inhumane and must be rebuked by all and sundry on the African continent.

Unbelievably, in the midst and faces of former slave masters currently in South Africa, treating fellow Africans in such a demeaning manner and form without any remorse placed citizens of South Africa on the dark edges of history, thereby discrediting every revolutionary credentials bestowed upon their struggle for apartheid.

RECOMMENDATIONS

As Vice President for WEST AFRICA/AASU, without fear and favor, I do hereby recommend to the Executive Committee of AASU that the following are hereby recommended as sanctions:

That the SOUTH AFRICA STUDENTS ASSOCIAION BE SUSPENDED FROM THE ALL AFRICA STUDENT UNION FOR TIME INDEFINITE.

THAT NO SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENT PARTAKE IN ANY OF AASU’S ACTIVITY pending the return of normalcy in South Africa.

THAT THE AASU DECLARE SOUTH AFRICA AS A DARK ZONE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.

THAT THE AASU DECLARE THE CURENT PRESIDENT OF SOUTH AFRICA, PRESIDENT CYRILL RAMAPOSA AS A REACTIONARY CAPITALIST AND SHALL NEVER be recognised by AASU for such a time that Xenophobic attack on Africans remain.

The office of the Vice President for West Africa of AASU wishes to also remind the masses of our people on the continent that during the Apartheid struggle, we knew how South Africans were banished from their own soil into exile and were welcomed by other African nationals in various countries with provision of shelter, food, education and scholarships and sustainable means of livelihood in peace and harmony.
Several millions of dollars were mobilized by Africans all over the world to help the South Africans during their struggle.
How come today these same South Africans have forgotten all of those sacrifices?
Have they forgotten so soon that it was the conglomeration of courageous, fearless and conscious black brothers across the African landscape who stood by them and shouted to the high heavens during the reign of terror in South Africa?

From the inception of this provocative attacks, there have been rumors or allegations hovering around that those blacks undergoing such barbarity were drug dealers/peddlers. However, uncoordinated statements emanating from the South African authorities proved ironical to the facts available.
But again, let’s agree for the sake of argument that these blacks were drug dealers, why didn’t the South African Authorities amicably deal with such a situation within the ambit of the law instead of allowing heartless south African resort to mass killings and molestation?

Nigeria:
It is documented in the annals of human history that the blood and sweat of Nigerian soldiers are saturated in the lifespan of many African nations. Where there are chaos, hunger, war and diseases, the government and people of Nigeria has always been there for its counterparts on all fronts, ensuring peace and tranquility on the continent.
Dedicated men and women from Nigeria have sacrificed and died in helping other Africa nations during troubling times. We, too, must treat them as humans, with respect and dignity. We should work together as one people on a united front with one goal and purpose.
As Vice President of the all Africa Student Union for West Africa, I stand in solidarity with the government and good people of Nigeria and hereby support all actions by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) which is the umbrella organization for all students of Nigeria home and in Diaspora unarguably the largest body of students on the continent of Africa.

Comr. Danielson Akpan, the President of NANS who has led this continental struggle is no doubt a global hero, and we all commend his doggedness in championing this struggle.

NANS having played a pivotal role in the pursuit of peaceful co-existence amongst Africans deserves our solidarity and as such we see the attack on Nigerian citizens as barbaric and must at all times be condemning Xenophobia in the strongest possible term.

It’s frustrating as one of the largest continent in the world that we are still divided at this time. We should be sober and reflect on struggles for independence of Africa a d the underdevelopment that colonialism did to our continent and people.

As a mass based revolutionary movement in Africa, we see Xenophobic action as contrary to the teaching of our African doctrine that spoke about African Unity. Never must we bow down to the teaching and understanding of the West that have inflicted and continue to inflict western casualty on our fellow Africans. As Vice President of this union in West Africa, we must remember the teaching of our African leaders who have fought so hard for unity of all African to live in harmony.

SOUTH AFRICA/ ANC

For South Africans, under the government of the ANC, to seeing other Africans gruesomely murdered especially Nigerians, it means that the gods must be mad. Such an anti Pan Africanist action is monumentally enough to place the ANC in the fifth quadrant of a high quo reactionary cult. Had the ANC- South African government really intended to curb such a barbaric act, it would have carried out a thorough arrest and prosecute those caught in such an unholy act so as to serve as a deterrence or caveat to those ingrates carrying on such an act. But when the wholesale looting and burning down of other blacks’ businesses and properties started initially, the very ANC regime gave it a blind eye. The Nigerian government then reach out to the South African government diplomatically so as to put an end to such barbarism but again, the South African never give the diplomatic process a fair play.
By this narcissist action, by a group of people who were once victim of brutality and barbarism, clearly positioned them into their aggressors and posture of their slave’s masters. As the entire black race and the whole of Africa struggled against their oppression yesterday and fight for their liberation, the entire human kind must resist and struggle against their actions today while currently acting like cannibals and oppressors.

Conclusively, we want to extent our revolutionary salutations to comrade CIC Julius Malenma for his uncompromising and fiery condemnations and agitations against the brutal killings of Nigerians and other foreign nationals. We thank all other nationals for their stance against this barbarism. We resoundingly call on SADAC to take a firm decision in order to rescue the macabre of killings in South Africa especially foreign nationals.

Today, on Raul Castro’s birthday, we commemorate his leading role in the anti-Batista resistance, as one of the few guerillas who had been a member of the Communist Party (PSP) before the revolution.

He and Che Guevara were one of the few revolutionary leaders who were openly Communist then. Two years after the revolution, in 1961, as the US attacked the revolution, Fidel moved to declare Cuba a socialist state and himself a Marxist Leninist.

Mayor Jefferson T Koijee and Cadre Varney Jarsey---- the special comradery that exists between soldiers that have experienced the crucible of combact together!

written by legal Scholar Faluku Freeman A revolutionary Marxist writer par excellence.

In life,as in history, men of great destiny sometimes have charmlights. Mayor Jefferson T Koijee and Cadre Varney Jarsey are men of furtitudes and great destiny and are no exception to this truism. Check their enviable struggle credentials and successes made along the way. See from whence they come and redirect your hate messages against them. Retrospect or do a flashback about their tested battles fought In the Youth and Student community and how they truimphed over their counterparts then. Look at the comrades they recruited ,inspired and promoted today. At their ages, they are at the twilight in national politics and leadership.
Together, it's a perfect collaboration. Working together is a call to national duty. Planning and working together generational mandate. Unity, selflessness and conviction will help our generation succeed. No man is an island and so, we will work tirelessly for the common good of our generation. We have a mission as generational ideologues and we must either fulfill it or abandoned it. Nothing wrong in any society with the coming together of like minds for a meaningful gesture. And so, stop the fabrication of lies and the motherland ahead of all.

Mayor Jefferson T. Koijee is the youngest Lord Mayor in the subregion. He is a student at the state-run University (UL). He is the Chairman of the most powerful Revolutionary CDC Youth League. Voluntarily served with deligence and passion for the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) then. Served as President, Monrovia High School Union then. Unwaveringly served Youth and Students advocate against despotic regime like the Taylor's cabal. Struggled with the CDC until victory. Jailed on countless occassions for his beliefs and principles. He is a deciple of the Proggressive forces in the homeland. He took on the mantle of authortiy at the MCC in an appaulling financial and logistical situation. The lack of adequate logistics and finances to effectively and efficiently carryout his function are cogent factors underpining his job at the MCC. Its bizzarre most especially in a city where majority of the people don't pay for their wastes but politicize the issue of waste for personal fames and undue relevance.

A city where the people don't pay for their wastes due to high level of poverty and illiteracy rate, it takes a farsighted, innovative and energetic young man like Jefferson Koijee to keep it safe, geeen and clean. It should also be the concern of each and every citizen to help the government in keeping their environment clean, safe and green. Rationality must be the hallmark of your criticism holding all factors constant. Honesty must be taken into consideration as we looked at the budgetary support or alotment for the City Government of Monrovia in 2018 and 2019 before comparing her to other cities around Africa. With this, we will take you serious in your propaganda. With the unflinching love for country and passion to cleaning the mess in Liberia, Mayor Jefferson T. Koijee is committed to making the impossible possible by putting into place smart actions and innovative policies like the current waste management program geared towards house to house collection of waste wherein households will now pay for their waste generated.

Similarly, Cadre Varney Jarsey is currently the Vice President of the All Africa Students Union (AASU). He served deligently as President of the Liberia National Students Union (LINSU).
At LINSU, he has several accomplishments. He is a retired student general in the homeland and survived several battles from hostile reactionary forces who wanted to silence the revolutionary tone of the student movement and deliver it to their handlers. He is a cadre and experienced soldier in the people's liberation struggle. He selflessly recruited militants, inspired and tutored them, and sacrificed everything to seeing them achieving their potentials. He bravely fought against hostile reactionary forces and some regime elements and later gunned down falsely by allegation of r**e and illegally incarcerated for 1yr months behind the rusty bars at Subbeach by these very forces we read about, blacklisted and confronted. Even in the stink prison walls, he fought alongside his ideological allies until the end of the 2017 elections.

Today, some of the very folks he recruited, exposed, trained, tutored, prioritized, financed and introduced to ideological leaders and literatures are the very elements insulting and defaming his unmatched reputation on Facebook and other media outlets. Folks who got exposed and popularized through his magnanimity, are the ones spewing the worst of insults on his person. This is the tragedy in the homeland. This is the reward they have for him. This is the appreciation they are showing him with the hope that he will not truimph over the evil plotted against him. These same guys who went all around and shouted to the high heavens that the allegation against Cadre Varney Jarsey is political and farfetched, are the same guys out of political malice spewing innuendos and inanities at Varney today. We leave them to their chirade and consciences. This too, shall come to past. The evil that man does, lives after him. Go ahead with the child's play.

Chronologically, we have observed an impelling hatred for the duo. Unjustifiable claims and counter-claims have been made against their persons. Jailed, beaten, rediculed and negatively characterized from time to time by internal and external forces. They have paid the prices for every political decisions or actions along the way. They have never been deterred or disgusted about all of these libellings. In fact, these vague allegations, libellings and defamatory assertions meted against their high earned reputations have placed them in a more courageous position to soldier on. Their public spiritedness and determination to struggle for the dignity of mankind have been rejuvenated. Their transformational vision about the homeland can never be thwarted by victims of their longtime political and revolutionary casualties. Make no mistake!

Akin to the days of Marx,Angel, Che , Mao,Kwame, Castro, Lenin, Bolivia, Chavez, Maurice, Stalin, Mati, Fanon, Cabral,Madiba, Sankara, Biko, Mugabe, Nyerere,Toure, Gamal, and other courageous brothers who fought for the people's dignity, there will always emerging leaders in every dispensation that will be castigated, betrayed, backstabbed and bullied by some of the very cunning opportunists they recruited, exposed, inspired, mentored and befriended along the way. Cadre Varney Jarsey and Jefferson Koijee are no exception of this political malace and historical antecedent. Everyday, their critics pray for the worst to happen to them. Out of youthful exhuberance and share arrogance, some lifetime ingrates and parasites who got little education and mesmerized by the reading of mediaval and outdated literatures, attack these two generational struggle icons in our dispensation out of ignorance.

You cannot write the history of the Youth and Student community and trusted ideological brothers without mentioning the name Cadre Varney Jarsey and Mayor Jefferson T.Koijee. It will be a disservice to overly inflict the role played by cunmen and ideologically barren swalawags in the presence of these two gallent men. I believed in their gallentry and politics. Without fear and favor, unmatched is their struggle credentials. Courageous and passionate are their staples. Revolutionary and selfless are their mindsets. Farsighted and humbled are their normals.
Their services to helping younger comrades achieving their potentials in this 21st Century is unquechable.

So, we are aware of the hatred against them. Luxury and extravagant lifestyle have never arm twisted their ideological constructs. Romanticing theories without praxis have never beclouded their reasonings and thought processes like other imps and imbiciles who masquerade with self- inflicted credentials.
Lastly, insult all you can. Fabricate all the lies. Run with all of the unkind propaganda against them. Say the worst to see their downfall. With the superior God above, they shall continue grow and truimph over their counterparts and doomsday prophets.
