Remembering a Father, Mentor & Advisor on World Photography Day
Today, I celebrate not just a father but a mentor, an advisor, and a great man who dedicated his life to the art of photography.
On this World Photography Day, I celebrate and honour your memory. You were one of the great photographers of the Republic of Liberia, especially in the Borough of New Kru Town.
You were a passionate photographer who loved and dedicated yourself to the field.
Though you are no longer with us, your legacy, your hard work, and your memories will continue to live on.
Today is even more special because your beloved daughter, Patience Bestman, has been inducted into office as treasurer of the National Photographers Union of Liberia.
Her recognition and achievement in the photography field are, in many ways, a reflection of the foundation you laid through your dedication, passion, and years of service.
To my beloved sister, Patience Bestman, congratulations! 🎉❤️ I am so proud of you. May God give you wisdom, strength, and grace as you serve in this new position. I love you and will always love you.
Today, we celebrate photographers, but we also celebrate the legacy of a father whose passion continues through his daughter.
