Our CEO Success Z.L.Carl, Jr writes--+-Appreciation Post ✍🏽

I want to sincerely appreciate T. Kla Wesley Jr. for giving me the opportunity to work alongside other media colleagues during the just-ended first edition of the Bettomax Champions Cup held at Tusa Field.

This was more than just an opportunity — it was an exposure for me as a young sports journalist, granting me the national platform to showcase my talent.

For the two weeks tournament, I learned so much, and the experience gained will stay with me throughout my journey.

To my fans, your likes, shares, and comments throughout the tournament never went unnoticed. Even when we may not always agree, you all remain the real heroes behind my growth.

On behalf of my family and my 26K followers, I say a heartfelt thank you to T.kla Wesley Jr and the entire management of Bettomax Liberia for trusting us.

Congratulations to Heaven Eleven F.C who emerged as the winner of the tournament.

We look forward to working with Bettomax Liberia again in the near future. 🙏🏽⚽

MC Algers Head Coach Rulani Mokwena on FC Fassell 🎙️🚨

“Fassell is very very difficult, we know they’ve been in Egypt for one month. We’ve been able to get a couple of footage. They played some very interesting friendly matches. They’ve made some very good signings. Some players also from Morocco. But before we focus on that match we need to recover now.”

The Weahs Declare War on Real Madrid ⚔️

History has a funny way of repeating itself!
In 1993, George Weah fired the opening goal for PSG in their famous 4-1 victory over Real Madrid in the UEFA Cup.

Fast forward to tonight, and his son Tim Weah has done the same, scoring the first goal for Marseille as they battle Real Madrid, currently locked at 1-1.

Like father, like son…
The Weahs love the big stage!

|Defending Champions Stunned in Nimba County League Opener|

Saclepea, Nimba County – The Johnny Voker Sports Pitch in Saclepea was the stage for a dramatic opening weekend of the Nimba County Inter Electoral District League, culminating in a major upset as the defending football champions, District #1, suffered a defeat.

The action unfolded on Sunday, September 14th, during the tournament's second match day. The day featured a double-header between rivals District #1 and District #2, with contrasting fortunes in each sport.

In a tightly contested football match, the defending champions, District #1, were narrowly defeated 1-0 by a resilient District #2 side. The first half ended goalless, with District #1 frustrated by a strong defensive performance from the visitors. The deadlock was broken in the second half when District #2 converted a penalty through Jeffesrson Winpea, securing a crucial three points and handing the champions a poor start to their title defense.

Conversely, in the kickball fixture, District #1 emerged victorious, handing District #2 their first loss in that category. This win marks District #1's first triumph in the kickball tournament.

The results have shaken up the early Group B standings. District #1's kickball team now sits top of their group with 3 points, while District #2 leads the football table.

Individual excellence was also recognized. Satta Fahnbulleh, captain of District #1's kickball team, was named "Queen of the Match" for her pivotal role in their victory. In football, youngster Clarence Mehn from District #2 earned the "Man of the Match" award for his splendid performance. Both players were awarded a button phone for their achievements.

Fahnbulleh set a record by becoming the first player from either district to clinch such an individual award in this year's tournament. She and player Clarence Mehn follow in the footsteps of God Gift James and Prince Davis of District #7, who were the first players to win the awards in such tournament.

LFA Holds Match Commissioners Refresher Workshop

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) on Monday commenced a two-day refresher workshop for match commissioners ahead of the new league season.

The workshop will focus on updating commissioners with the latest competition regulations, match reporting standards, and best practices to ensure professionalism and consistency in the delivery of domestic competitions.

Opening the session, LFA President Mustapha I. Raji described the workshop as an exciting moment for the football family, emphasizing the Association’s commitment to developing every key aspect of the game.

“This reflects our commitment to the people of Liberia, ensuring that every sector of football benefits from development—including commissioners. We are living up to our promises and will continue to do so,” the President said.

He noted that commissioners play a crucial role in the growth of the game, just like players and coaches, and highlighted the importance of identifying and nurturing talent within football administration.

“Some of you came from different professional backgrounds but today you are gaining experience and expertise to serve as commissioners in our leagues. With the evolution of football and technology, we must continue this process of refreshing skills, exchanging ideas, and addressing challenges,” he added.

The refresher is part of the LFA’s commitment to maintaining high standards across all aspects of football management and operations.
