.. Senator Cyrus tells new EPS graduates
Liberia Senate Chair on National Defense, Security, Intelligence, and Veteran Affairs Lofa County Senator Momo Cyrus has told graduates of the Executive Protection Service (EPS) that their work is not a joke, but a pressure and service without but only consequences.
Speaking at the graduation of 166 Executive Protection Service officers, held at the Liberia National Police Academy and Training Center in Paynesville, Senator Cyrus cautions the new breed of officers to be vigilant and courageous in their duties.
He reminded them of their critical role and intensive journey, which tested their endurance, sharpened their instincts, and instilled principles and loyalty to cleverly execute their duties.
“Today is not just a celebration of the end of a vigorous training program; it is a testament to discipline, new transformation, and a national commitment,” the senator said.
Senator Cyrus reaffirms the Senate support towards the Liberia National Police in strengthening capacity-building efforts.
“As Chairman on Security, Defense, and Intelligence, I reaffirm the Senate commitments to strengthening the institution and upholdingnational security.
"We will continue to work with the Liberia National Police to ensure that the capacity-building efforts continue," he added.
