Smoov HQ Entertainment Presents: A-Wood’s Debut Feature Single “Speeding” Featuring MC CARO
Monrovia, Liberia – June 26, 2025 – Rising Liberian artist A-Wood is set to make a major mark on the Afro-fusion scene with the release of his highly anticipated single, “Speeding,” featuring none other than Liberia’s rap King and ex-label mate, MC CARO. The single drops worldwide on Friday, July 18th, 2025, across all streaming platforms.
Produced by award nominated hitmaker SmyKid, “Speeding” is more than just a track it’s a defining moment. This release marks A-Wood’s first ever collaborative single, and it comes full circle with the very artist who helped shape his journey. MC CARO, a former member of Smoov HQ Entertainment, was instrumental in bringing A-Wood to the label and played a key role in his artistic development from the start.
Long before stepping into the spotlight, A-Wood was being groomed behind the scenes making early cameos in music videos like “Money” by MC CARO ft. Pillz and “Nothing For Nothing” by DavyC ft. Nuchie Meek. His vocals first captured public attention on “Fine” (track 11 on MC CARO’s chart-topping album KING CARO) and later gained further recognition with “Body” by DavyC a single that officially introduced both his voice and face to the Liberian music scene.
