Hawan Kibo, Plateau State β€” A devastating auto accident on Tuesday resulted in the deaths of nineteen travelers, including five personnel from the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in Hawan Kibo, located in the Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, North Central Nigeria.

The incident occurred along the Jos-Akwanga Express Road when an 18-passenger Hiace bus, traveling from Yola to Abuja, collided with a stationary articulated vehicle. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the crash was caused by high speed, leading to the immediate death of the bus driver and all passengers on board.
