PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ref: 012
PROSA CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL AND INVESTIGATION OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE, THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR TO THE PRESIDENT, AND THE OFFICIAL IN CHARGE OF THE LDEA; RESCHEDULES "OPERATION ENTER PARLIAMENT," DEMANDS ACCOUNTABILITY ON DRUG TRAFFICKING, AND CALLS FOR URGENT ACTION TO SAVE THE UNIVERSITY OF LIBERIA
Comrades and friends, members of the growing intelligentsia, slum and ghetto dwellers, the unprivileged class, conscious students of the republic, militants and cadres of the ever potent revolutionary avant-garde Progressive Students Alliance, fellow Liberians, distinguished ladies and gentlemen.
The Progressive Students Alliance (PROSA) is a Pan-Africanist revolutionary institution firmly committed to defending and advancing the fundamental rights of students at the University of Liberia and the broader Liberian society. Our foundation is deeply rooted in the principles of egalitarianism, where justice, fairness, and equal opportunity are not privileges but guaranteed rights for all Liberians regardless of class or background.
The pursuit of a just and equitable society remains the core mission upon which this institution was established. We believe in a Liberia where resources, opportunities, and national benefits are distributed fairly to serve the collective good of the people—not a privileged few. It is this conviction that defines our struggle and shapes our resistance against all forms of injustice, exploitation, and systemic inequality.
PROSA stands as a revolutionary student force rooted in the defence of the masses. We do not bargain with injustice, and we will never trade the future of the Liberian people for personal comfort, silence, or political convenience. Our foundation is egalitarianism, and that is the line we will hold.
In light of growing public concern over professionalism and alleged links to organized crime, The Revolutionary Avant-garde Progressive Students Alliance-PROSA calls for immediate suspension or dismissal and investigation of:
1. Mr. Gregory O.W.Coleman - Inspector General of the Liberia National Police (LNP).
2. Mr. Samuel Kofi Woods II - National Security Advisor to the President.
3. Mr. Fitzgerald T.M. Biago - Official in Charge of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA).
These officials must be investigated for lack of professionalism and for alleged suspicion, involvement, and connection to the cartels linked to both the 370 million and the 19.2 million USD drug seizure. Public trust in our security institutions can not be restored without transparent action.
PROSA hereby announces that its planned peaceful civic engagement, "Operation Enter Parliament," originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2026, has been postponed until a later date
This is due to intelligence gathered through our intelligence bureau that the Senate is currently on recess, perhaps they took a recess to bypass the peaceful confrontation and accountability check from the revolutionary avant-garde progressive students' alliance PROSA; also with a credible security concerns and information suggesting that there were planned attempts by individuals who are believed to be supporters of the regime to infiltrate or disrupt this exercise in a manner that could undermine its peaceful objectives and misrepresent the intentions of our movement.
As a disciplined organization, PROSA remains committed to lawful, peaceful, and democratic civic engagement. We will not permit any actors to hijack our message or provoke unnecessary confrontation.
The public will be informed of the new date in due course. We call upon all supporters to remain calm, organized, and prepared to participate peacefully when the next phase of our democratic engagement is announced.
PROSA also expresses grave concern over recent reports of significant co***ne seizures in Liberia, including reports involving narcotics valued at approximately US$19 million and another reported seizure estimated at approximately US370 million.
If these reports accurately reflect the scale of organized criminal activity operating within Liberia, they raise profound questions regarding national security, institutional accountability, and the country's international reputation.
We note with concern public statements by senior law enforcement officials suggesting that government officials may be implicated in these alleged criminal networks. Such statements demand transparency and decisive action. If evidence exists, those allegedly involved should be identified and subjected to an impartial judicial process, free from fear and political influence.
PROSA, therefore, calls for an independent, transparent, and internationally credible investigation into these reported cases. We further urge Liberia's international partners to support efforts aimed at ensuring that the investigation commands public confidence and that anyone found responsible is held accountable in accordance with the law.
To preserve the integrity of any investigation, PROSA also calls for the immediate suspension or dismissal of the Inspector General of Police, National Security Advisor to the President, and the Official in Charge of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency to give credibility and transparency to the investigation process, pending the outcome of an independent inquiry.
This request is not a declaration of guilt, but a measure intended to strengthen public confidence in the investigative process and shed light on the potential allegations surrounding the first family, the offices of the president, and other senior officials of various ministries and agencies.
Fellow Liberians, the Avant-garde Party categorically condemns the most recent publicized seizure of a co***ne bust of a little over half a BILLION, to have been burned, with no civil society organizations or international partners present during the burning exercise, shows a Clear sign of suspicion and PROSA can never and will never fall to such petit political shenanigans and propagandistic attempts to bamboozle the mind and attention of the Liberian people from the reality of the day. Liberia must never become a haven for transnational organized crime. The nation and its people deserve institutions that inspire confidence, protect the rule of law, and place the public interest above all else.
PROSA is equally concerned by the continuing tensions affecting the University of Liberia, particularly the dispute involving the University of Liberia Faculty Association (ULFA), the University of Liberia Staff Association(ULSA), and the university administration, which is directly affecting the ordinary children of the masses who are hungry and thirsty to acquire tertiary education at the University of Liberia.
The persistent challenges confronting the country's premier public university—includes but not limited to, inadequate access to functional laboratories, poor sanitation, dilapidated and ackids buildings, lack of transportation services, lack of access to internet connectivity, low budgetary allotment towards a conducive learning environment, unresolved concerns over faculty, staff, administrators welfare, and the recurring industrial disputes that continues to undermine the quality of higher education and the future of but thousands of Liberian students at the University of Liberia.
Fellow Liberians, the Government of Liberia has both a constitutional and moral responsibility to ensure that the University of Liberia remains a stable and conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research. Therefore, as the administration of the University of Liberia has scheduled to resume classes on August 25, 2026, PROSA urges the government, the university administration, ULSA, and ULFA to engage in sincere dialogue and resolve all outstanding issues fairly without further delay. Coincidentally, Mr. Boakai has the greater responsibility to ensure that quality education is offered at the University of Liberia.
The ordinary students should never become victims of prolonged institutional disagreements. Their educations, aspirations, and futures must remain a national priority.
Mr. Boakai and his CORRUPT government officials are
insensitive to ensuring real commitment to "Arrest AGENDA," which talks about quality education.
In fact, Mr. Boakai and his CORRUPT Government Officials should be ARRESTED for a failed policy and demonstration of a blunt and obvious campaign lie.
Accordingly, PROSA expects all responsible authorities to ensure the timely reopening of the university in accordance with the academic calendar. Should avoidable actions disrupt students' constitutional right to education, and classes do not open or resume as scheduled for August 25th, will lead The Revolutionary Avant-garde Progressive Students Alliance with no option but to take a robust and unspecified revolutionary action by mobilizing the students to defend and demand their constitutional right to education from the so-called “ Rescue government “ that has metamorphosed into a “ Co***ne government “ derailing the high international image of the motherland under the last surviving mafia of the true-Whig party in Mr. Boakai.
Liberia stands at a defining moment; the challenges confronting our nation demand courageous and responsible leadership, transparent governance, and institutions capable of earning the confidence of the people.
PROSA remains steadfast in its commitment to peaceful civic engagement, constitutional democracy, accountability, and the protection of the rights and welfare of all Liberian students and citizens of the Republic of Liberia.
LONG LIVE THE REVOLUTIONARY AVANT-GARDE PARTY!
LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!
LONG LIVE THE MASSES OF OUR PEOPLE!
ALUTA! CONTINUA!
Done and issued on the 3rd day of August AD 2026 by mandate of the all-powerful chairperson of the revolutionary avant-garde progressive students alliance of the University of Liberia.
