Service Announcement

The administration of the Liberia Institute of Media Excellence (LIME) wishes to inform the public that the school is accepting new students for its Level One training cycle.

LIME is located at the Victory Christian School System Campus, opposite Truth FM Junction in Duport Road, Paynesville. The school runs a nine-month training program for aspiring journalists, public relation officers, public speakers and emerging leaders.

Registration is now in progress at the school’s campus from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.

LIME was established in 2021 by experienced Liberian journalists working at some of the leading media institutions including FrontPage Africa and Kool 91.9 FM to train aspiring journalists as part of their contribution towards the improvement of the Liberian media landscape.

The school is accepting high school graduates and above for this exciting learning opportunity. Classes are conducted every Saturday from 9am to 3pm.

Before graduation, the school will provide internship opportunities for the students at some of the leading print and electronic media houses in Liberia.

Our Institution, the Liberia Institute of Media Excellence (LIME), on yesterday August 14, 2021 organized a one day capacity building workshop for aspring Journalists, public Speakers, public relation Officers and social Media Branding.

The program was held in paynesville, with approximately 35 young emerging leaders from Montserrado County's.

Meanwhile, the "Learning Series" is a program designed and organized by LIME administrators in every Month with focused on making youths realized their potentials in this present dispensations with much emphasis in setting goals with boldness.

The Liberia Institute of Media Excellence- LIME for short, is the newest Journalism Institution with a lot of goodies.

As LIME await its opening date comes August 28, 2021, LIME also set to launch one of its biggest " Learning Series" to hit the city of Paynesville and Montserrado at large.

D.William Mentoe Jr, is a student of the African Methodist Episcopal University and a resident of Canaan land Community fendell.

Mentoe Jr, is currently the president of the Liberia Young Leaders Initiative-a youth advocate organization.

Mentoe Jr, has expressed interest in learning more form LIME's one-day capacity building training.

GRAND CAPE MOUNT COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT DISCLOSES; ANOTHER WAEC STAFF BODY OF DISTRESSED VESSEL DISCOVERS.

Grand Cape Mount County Superintendent Aaron Vicent have disclosed that one of the missing persons from the Nikol Ivanka vessel has been found in the County.

Superintendent Vicent said that the body found is identified as a staff of WAEC in person Wuelleh Johnson.

The body of Mr. Wuelleh was discovered 11: 30 AM this morning in Robertsport.

The WAEC staff was apart of a team travelling to the Southeastern Liberia for the administering of the Liberia Elementary and Junior High School Examination.

The discovery of Mr Wuelleh body brings to the total number 14 persons that have been rescued so far.

More people are still yet to be accounted for.
