𝗕𝗨𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗡, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 -- Leaders of the Christian Community of Grand Bassa County paid a courtesy visit to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. to welcome, commend his administration's development efforts and seek support for the construction of a Christian Community Hall. The meeting took place at the Grand Bassa County Superintendent’s Complex in Buchanan on July 24, 2026, ahead of Liberia’s 179th National Independence Day celebrations.

Addressing the Liberian President, First Lady Kartumu Yarta Boakai and senior government officials on behalf of the delegation, Rev. Dr. David G. Teah, Chairman of the Christian Community, expressed gratitude for the administration's achievements.

"We are grateful for the work you have done over the past three years," Rev. Teah said. "We appreciate God for giving you wisdom and leadership."

Rev. Teah also informed the President that the delegation plans to present him with a gift during the National Thanksgiving Service scheduled for Sunday, July 26, at the Methodist Church in Buchanan.

Additionally, Rev. Teah requested executive support to construct the Christian Community Hall to help resolve venue shortages for local religious gatherings and events.

"We want you to be a blessing to the Christian Community in Grand Bassa County by helping us erect the first-ever Christian Community Hall," Rev. Teah appealed. "It will serve as a venue for our events and for hosting guests in the county. We also kindly request your assistance in securing a four-door pickup truck to facilitate our movements across the five regions we work in."

In response, President Boakai thanked the Christian leaders for their visit, gratitude and recognition of his administration's work. He promised to hold follow-up meetings after the Independence Day celebrations to discuss their requests in detail.

The Liberian leader concluded by encouraging the delegation to remain hardworking and steadfast in supporting the transformation of Liberia, upholding the values of religious tolerance and adherence to the constitution of the Republic of Liberia.

Paynesville, July 20, 2026 — Youth ministry Jesus In The Streetz brought both spiritual message and physical nourishment to Paynesville’s ELWA Junction on Saturday, July 18, offering hot, cooked meals alongside the gospel to passersby and disadvantaged local youth.

The outreach initiative combined open-air preaching with community care, aiming to meet the immediate needs of residents while sharing a message of faith. Ministry leaders framed the effort as a direct fulfillment of the "great commission" found in matthew 28, emphasizing that serving the vulnerable is central to their calling.

BREAKING — Clashes Between Police and Civilians Disrupt Traffic And Movement on Japan Freeway

A violent confrontation is currently underway between armed officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP) and a group of civilians in Battery Factory, Somalia Drive, along the Japan Freeway.

The ongoing clash has triggered panic among local residents and caused severe traffic gridlock for commuters and passengers traveling along the Somalia Drive axis.

Unconfirmed reports suggest the violence stems from a localized land dispute. Official confirmation on the exact trigger is still pending.

Commuters and motorists heading toward central Monrovia are advised to avoid the Japan Freeway/Somalia Drive route until further updates.

Travelers should redirect their routes and utilize the Broad Street/Bushrod Island corridor to safely reach their destinations.

"You can't be both a devout follower of Freemasonry and Christianity at the same time.

My Grandfather was both a 33rd Degree Mason and a "Lifetime" Deacon in the Baptist church. After he died, I inherited his books. These included ENCYCLOPEDIA OF FREEMASONRY AND ITS KINDRED SCIENCES by ALBERT C. MACKEY M. D. and Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike...
As I read through them, I came to the conclusion that either he was a Christian who lied to the Masons or a Mason who lied to the church... The two are opposite... The Masons openly worship Lucifer and the Church worships Jesus Christ... No man can worship both.

Since the Bible prohibits lying and the Masons encourage and demand it, I came to the sad conclusion that my own Grandfather was a Masonic Deceiver in the church... That is sad.

That was the powerful charge from President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., as he addressed Liberian Christians and government officials at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast in Congo Town on May 25, 2026.

Speaking at the event jointly hosted by the Evangelical Seminary of West Africa and the Ramesh Richard Evangelical and Church Health Group, the Liberian Statesman exhorted both citizens and government officials to mirror their faith through their everyday character.

“Prayer alone is not enough if our actions do not reflect our faith," President Boakai stated. "A praying nation must also be a responsible nation - a faithful people must also be discipline people.”
