Mayon, our Official Photographer and Media Coordinator, a highly respected filmmaker, multimedia consultant, media trainer, and creative entrepreneur whose expertise and innovation continue to shape visual storytelling and media excellence in Liberia.
With over 18 years of professional experience in filmmaking, television production, photography, media development, and strategic communications, Gardea has established himself as one of Liberia's leading creative professionals. His passion for storytelling and commitment to excellence have earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.
Gardea is the Founder and Creative Director of Kanon Film Studioz and Kanon Flash Studio, two renowned creative brands dedicated to producing high-quality visual content, promoting media innovation, and empowering the next generation of creative talents. Through these platforms, he has consistently contributed to the growth and development of Liberia's film, photography, and media industries.
As Official Photographer and Media Coordinator of JBull Beauty & Modeling Academy, Gardea is responsible for overseeing the academy's visual branding, photography, videography, digital media content, event coverage, promotional campaigns, and public communications. His creative vision ensures that every JBMA activity, event, and achievement is professionally documented and effectively showcased to the public.
Beyond photography and filmmaking, Gardea has conceptualized and produced numerous television programs addressing critical social issues, including youth empowerment, health awareness, sports development, relationships, rural development, women's empowerment, and the promotion of Liberian arts and culture. His work reflects a deep belief in media as a powerful tool for education, advocacy, and positive social change.
Throughout his career, his films and multimedia productions have received nominations and recognition both locally and internationally, highlighting his dedication to impactful storytelling and professional excellence.
