🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AARON G. KOLLEH!

Today, the Liberia Female Amputee National Team celebrate Aaron G Kolleh on his birthday.

Aaron has continued to stand on the sidelines, behind the camera, and in the moments that matter, helping showcase the hard work, talent, struggles, and determination of Liberia’s female amputee football players.

Through his lens, our players are seen. Through his work, our stories are told. And through his commitment, the world gets to see that disability does not stop talent, passion, or determination.

Today, we say THANK YOU, AARON, for always helping to shine a light on our journey even as we prepare for the Female Amputee Nations Cup.

LIBERIA’S FEMALE AMPUTEE TEAM GETS A SECOND WORLD CUP CHANCE

We missed the first opportunity because of financial challenges, but our dream has not ended.

The second WAFF Women’s Amputee Football World Cup is set to take place in Kraków, Poland, in 2027, giving us another chance to compete on the world stage.

We still remember missing the inaugural Women’s Amputee World Cup in Colombia in 2024. It was painful, but it also made us stronger.

Today, we continue to train, push through difficult conditions and believe in what we can achieve.

We do not want our disability to define us. We want our football, determination and love for Liberia to speak for us.

But getting to Kraków will require more than determination. We need preparation, resources, support and commitment.

This time, we want to be there.

Kraków 2027 is more than a tournament for us. It is another chance to represent Liberia, inspire other women and prove that challenges cannot stop a dream.

The dream is still alive. The journey continues. And we are ready to fight for our chance.

LIBERIA FEMALE AMPUTEE TEAM PRIORITIZES PLAYER SAFETY IN TRAINING

Head Coach Victor Benson is providing instructions to our Team Medic to remain alert and responsive during all training and match activities. Coach Benson says this is part of the team's ongoing preparations and commitment to player welfare as we gear up to represent Liberia.
