Over the weekend, I had the distinct honor of attending and inducting the new Corps of officers of Diompillor America at its 14th National Convention.
In our Kissi vernacular, Diompillor means 'Togetherness'.
During the event, I emphasized the monumental developments of His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr.; and further reminded all participants that in unity, we are bound to succeed together. Our landmark achievements in Foya just under two years has only been possible because of the unity of purpose that we all exude as a people.
As Representative of the Kissi people (District #1, Lofa County) at the National Legislature, it was yet another honor to stand with our brothers and sisters in the diaspora, celebrating our heritage, unity, and the progress we continue to make together.
I am very humble and thankful to Diompillor America for the extraordinary honor bestowed upon me at their event!
