Role

Position Overview

BMMC is looking to recruit three (3) qualified and dedicated Nurses to join our team of
professionals in the Medical (Clinic) Department of BMMC. The Nurses will assist in providing care for patients, managing their physical needs, treating health conditions and
preventing illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily patient assessments for injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes). Administer routine medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor and document vital signs, wound healing progress, and patient responses
to care. Perform routine wound care, IV therapy, and infection control procedures.

Manage chronic disease follow-ups and health screenings (e.g., blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring). Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) for all consultations and treatments.

Provide immediate triage and life-saving interventions for trauma, burns, cardiac
events, or occupational injuries.

Assist stabilization critically ill/injured patients for transfer to higher-level care facilities. And prepare patients for safe transfer, including securing IV lines, Oxygen, and monitoring devices. Operate emergency medical equipment (e.g., defibrillators, suction units, splints).

Accompany patients during ground/air transfers, providing continuous care en
care. Liaise with hospitals and ambulance teams to ensure seamless handover of patient
Perform daily clinic inspections to ensure cleanliness, equipment functionality,
and stock adequacy.

Restock medical supplies (e.g., bandages, medications, PPE) and manage inventory logs. Update patient charts, incident reports, and compliance documentation daily.

Performs other duties that are consistent with the functions of the position that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

About the
Candidate

Essential Qualification/Requirement:
Registered Nurse (RN) with valid Liberia Nursing Board licensure.

3+ years of nursing experience, including routine primary care and emergency/trauma settings.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and First Aid required: Occupational Health Nursing
or Remote Nursing certification preferred.

Proficiency in EHR systems and medical equipment maintenance.

Strong physical stamina to navigate mine sites and assist with patient transfers.

Sinje Town Residents Appeal for Extension of Demolition Deadline.

‎Sinje Town, Grand Cape Mount County_ Several residents of Sinje Town, Garwula District, are appealing to the Government of Liberia to extend the deadline for the planned demolition of structures along the Bo-Waterside to Klay corridor.

‎The appeal follows the Ministry of Public Works’ recent marking of houses, shops, entertainment centers, and guest houses in District #2’s headquarters & other houses for removal to facilitate the expansion of the Ibrahim Babangida Road from two lanes to four lanes.

‎According to affected property owners, the one-month notice issued for relocation is insufficient. They are also calling on the government to provide compensation before any demolition begins.

‎The Ministry of Public Works has informed residents that the demolition exercise will commence on May 23, 2026, beginning from Gbar Foboi Town through Sinje Town.

Authorities are urging all affected citizens to adhere to the stipulated timeline.

Bea Mountain Mining Launches Weajue Youths Quarterly Sanitation and Cleaning Up Exercises, As the young people wholeheartedly Embrace the initiative

In a bold step to ensure the sanitary condition of its host communities, the Management of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation has launched the Weajue Youths Quarterly Sanitation and Cleaning Up Exercises.

Led by the Company’s Community Relations Department, Deputy Community Relations Manager Erhan Kanyilmaz and Community Relations Superintendent Isaac ZK Sasraku, the initiative was launched on November 17, 2025. The occasion was graced by the Town Chief of Weajue, Youth Chairman, and other key Stakeholders of Gola Konneh District who thanked Senior Management for always identifying with their community.

According to Deputy CR Manager Erhan Kanyilmaz and CR Superintendent Isaac ZK Sasraku, the initiative aims to empower the young people of Weajue Community and to promote a clean and healthy community.

As our Community Relations Superintendent and Deputy Manager said, "This initiative is our way of promoting a clean and healthy community and empowering the young people of Weajue Community to be good examples for the young generation to follow."

The BMMC officials encouraged the young people of Weajue to be good role models for the younger generation, further encouraging them to take ownership of their community and make a positive impact.

GOLA KONNEH DISTRICT, GRAND CAPE MOUNT COUNTY ------- In an exciting twist of events, Bea Mountain in collaboration with the Mana and Laar Clans Development Committees on Wednesday & Thursday, September 24 & 25, dedicated several projects across the two Clans.
Notable among those dedicated projects were school annexes at the Fahn Badah Public School in Lofa Bridge, Gold Camp Public School in Gold Camp, Weajue Public School in Weajue; the construction of the Lofa Kongo and Bomihood Public Schools; and the renovated Marbon Dorley Public School. Other projects that were also dedicated included a Guest House in Gohnzoe and another at Managorduah, totaling the dedicated projects to eight (8).
Speaking at the dedication ceremonies on Wednesday, former Mana Clan Chief Gbennie Boimah recounted His strides in ensuring that the projects come to fruitions. He especially thanked the Management of Bea Mountain for living up to its commitment of an annual payment of one hundred fifty thousand United States (US$150,000.00) to each Clan in Gola Konneh District purposely for Development. This means, per annum, Bea Mountain pays US$450,000.00 to Gola Konneh District, something Chief Gbennie Boimah referred to as laudable.
"I leave as Clan Chief today but my legacies will live. It was through our efforts that this Clan Development Funds (CDF) was birthed even though some people criticized us and accused us of not doing anything. Some went as far as saying we were eating their money. But today, the realities have set-in. We want to also thank the Mana Clan Development Committee (CDC) headed by Mr. Konah Vanjah and His Team for the hard work. At least this year our children will have somewhere better and comfortable to sit and learn." Chief Gbennie Boimah concluded.

Speaking on behalf of Bea Mountain, Community Relations Gender Officer Hawa N. Massaquoi expressed delights over the accomplishments of the projects across the two Clans and the qualities thereof. She, on behalf of BMMC's Management thanked the local authority of Gola Konneh and the Mana & Laar Clans Development Committees for upholding its duties in line with the 2022 Agreement that established the Clan Development Funds (CDF).
"I am happy to be part of history making. For us to be dedicating more schools these two days is a sign of a brighter future and Management is extremely pleased. We want to reaffirm our commitment to the Clan Development Funds that is strictly intended for development purposes.” Madam Massaquoi concluded.

For their parts, Mana and Laar Clans Development Committee Chairmen Mr. Konah Vanjah and Charles Doman Cooper in a synonymous voice thanked BMMC for its relentless financial support to development in their Clans. They also applauded the citizens and leadership of the Clans for their usual support, trust and confidence reposed in them to stir the path of development in their homelands.
Many see this as not just dedications of projects but a landmark victory for school going kids of the district.

Bea Mountain Provides Humanitarian Support To Flood Victims
--Embarks On Remedial Action To Eradicate Potential Threat To Residents Of Kru And Fanti Town Communities In Robertsport City

In a complete display of generosity, Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) on Saturday, September 13, 2025, donated huge consignment of assorted food items to flood victims in Robertsport City, following a devastating flood that made residents of Kru and Fanti Communities homeless. This donation was in line with the Company’s own initiative and humanitarian support.

Presenting the food items to the over 200 flood victims through the County Superintendent, Hon. Foley J. Kiatamba and Robertsport City Mayor Hon. Thomas Bai Massaquoi, Mr. Alpaslan Özbilge, Bea Mountain’s Government & Community Affairs Manager said the Company was extremely saddened by the situation.

“We were saddened when we got engaged by Grand Cape Mount County Legislative Caucus about the flooding situation in the city. We are deeply sorry Hon. Superintendent, and Bea Mountain has come to identify with the victims. And so on behalf of the Senior Management, I want to say sorry to the people of Robertsport City for the unforeseen misfortune. We stand with you during this period.” Manager Özbilge asserted.

Receiving the materials on behalf of the flood victims, the County Superintendent Hon. Foley J. Kiatamba, Robertsport City Mayor Hon. Thomas Bai Massaquoi and others in separate remarks extolled Management for its prompt and timely interventions to support families affected by the recent floods. They recounted interventions made by Bea Mountain in Robertsport and other parts of the County, asserting that BMMC had always been approachable to the leadership of the County.

Moreso, in a remedial effort to avoid further flooding within the Kru and Fanti Communities of Robertsport City, the Company has also dispatched an excavator and other yellow machines that successfully arrived in the Grand Cape Mount County Capital City of Robersport to help the locals to reopen the estuary (bad mouth) which is believed to be the cause of the flooding in the city.

BMMC had always been committed to extending relief and other supports to its host communities as well as other parts of the County. The initiative underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in delivering timely humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities.

BMMC is also grateful to all its stakeholders, especially the Grand Cape Mount County Legislative Caucus (Hon. Semion B. Taylor, Hon. Dabbah Mabande Varpilah, Hon. Mohammed Dosii, including the County Administration headed by Hon. Foley J. Kiatamba who, over the past days continued to jointly engage with the Senior Management for the opening of the estuary (bad mouth) and flood incident.

Bea Mountain Certificates 53 Of Its Employees After Completion of Underground Mine Equipment Vocational Training

As part of efforts to improve the human capacity of its workers, the Management of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation through the Health and Safety Department has trained and certificated fifty-three (53) of its employees in various disciplines. The workers, mainly from the Underground Department, acquired skills in Mixer, Minetruck, Platform and Emulsion Machine Training.

Speaking on 30th August 2025, the Operations Manager of BMMC Mr. Engin Turhan stated that regular training for the employees is very important because it helps to improve their skills. He emphasizes that vocational training and safety are utmost priority for BMMC. And BMMC will continue to provide vocational training for its employees that will contribute to Liberia's future in terms of skilled manpower.
“As a Company, BMMC will continue to provide these kinds of trainings for our staff. I want to thank those who joined hands together to ensure the success of this training, especially the Health and Safety Department, and to our workers who took advantage of the training opportunities.

At the same time, the Operations Manager of BMMC used the opportunity to admonish employees to utilize the skills they have acquired over the period.

Making remarks during the certification program, Health and Safety Manager Shadrach Fahnbulleh said “It is my honor today to stand before you as we celebrate this milestone, the celebration of our vocational trainees. This ceremony is more than the handing out of certificates, as you may know, it is the recognition of growth, commitment, and the pursuit of excellence. Within a period of one year that BMMC has made a remarkable progress.”

According to Mr. Fahnbulleh, 600 employees have been trained in various vocational disciplines, while 4,000 people have received health and safety specific training; something he described as a plus for the Mine.
In his address, the Health and Safety Manager also spoke about what he calls “building a culture of competence” among the workforce which he says has created a responsibility to individuals, and safety in the workplace.
He continues: “come in the next one year, we are confident that these achievements will double as we continue to invest in our employees. Because when we invest in the people, we invest in safety; when we invest in people, we invest also in productivity and invest in our future as a company”.
Mr. Fahnbulleh on behalf of the Health and Safety Team thanked facilitators of the training and extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Management of BMMC for the continued support.

Representing the Minister of Labor was Grand Cape Mount County Labor Commissioner John S. Sheriff who thanked BMMC for always providing training opportunities for its employees.

“On behalf of Honorable Cooper Kruah, Minister of Labor of the Republic of Liberia, I bring you greetings, I’m pleased to say that the Government of Liberia is proud of you BMMC for what we are witnessing for the second time today. So, with much I do, guys please put these trainings and certificates to test, take them as a livelihood for yourselves, for your respective families, for Liberia and the world at large”

For his part, the Workers Union Chairman of BMMC Paul Wah thanked and appreciated the Company for its continuous efforts in refining the skills of local workers.
“Firstly, I will take this time to extend thanks and appreciations to BMMC. This is the second certification since I got elected as Chairman of the Workers Union. BMMC has been making it possible to impact knowledge into Liberians and we hope this won’t be the last.” BMMC’s Workers Union Chairman Paul Wah told the gathering.

Chairman Wah further encouraged the Company’s Management to continue rolling out trainings of these kinds for the Liberian workers describing it as the surest treasures that the Company can leave with Liberians.

This is not the first time for BMMC to certificate trained local workers. It can be recalled, during the first quarters of this year, BMMC trained and certificated 500 local workers in separate disciplines. Mine Rescue, Mine Survey, Excavator, Loader, Dozer, Grater Operators, among other disciplines formed part of the first quarters certification at the Camp David Recreation Center.
