⭐️ We’re excited to announce that our team at Meinart is starting a new journey with THE BOY AND THE SEA — a short animated film written and directed by Meinardas Valkevičius.

The project has received preproduction funding from the Lithuanian Film Centre, and we couldn’t be happier to bring this story to life together as a team.

🍿 This dialogue-free film explores the silent wall between a father and son, a childhood that passes by, and the words that remain unspoken.

The film will be produced by Akvilė Bliujūtė - Janušė, who has collaborated with us on many films over the years, and the concept art was created by Gabija Visockaite, our art director, who also shaped the visual worlds of 'The Perfect Fit' and 'Nelly Jelly: My Movie'.

We are grateful to the Lithuanian Film Centre and the experts who believed in this story and gave it wings.

⭐ The trailer for our latest animated short film TEN is finally here! 🍿

This film has been in the making for nearly four years – written and directed by Šarūnas Vyštartas, it's a deeply personal and author-driven story about identity, resilience, and quiet transformation. We're incredibly proud to share a first glimpse of it with you today.

🎬 TEN tells the story of an emigrant who arrives in a foreign country and must adapt to survive. But when he reaches the limit of his strength, he returns to his true self and accepts his fate.

⭐️ We’re proud to present the official POSTER of our latest animated short film – TEN.

This is an original, author-driven work written and directed by Šarūnas Vyštartas – a personal and powerful creative vision brought to life by our team at Meinart.

✨ Official synopsis: When an emigrant arrives in a foreign country, he must adapt to the new environment to survive. However, when he reaches the limit of his capabilities, he returns to his true self and accepts his fate.

The film runs 15 minutes and explores themes of identity, resilience, and quiet transformation.

🦩 We’re thrilled to have contributed to the Nacionaliniai kino apdovanojimai „Sidabrinė gervė“ 2025. 🏆 This time, we had the pleasure of creating the ANIMATION that brings the vision of the talented Egyboy duo to life. ⭐ It’s an honor to be part of these prestigious awards, which will take place on June 8th.

We're incredibly excited to finally share that our film 'Tahlequah the Whale: A Dance of Grief' won EIGHT Telly Awards, including a Telly GOLD!!! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

While the win happened last year, the award has just made its way to us – and it's huge, as big as an Oscar and weighs quite a lot! We’re so grateful for the recognition in categories like soundtrack, direction, narration, animation (in two categories), art direction, nature & wildlife depiction, and script.

⭐️ A big thank you to our director Daniel Kreizberg for the opportunity to work on such a powerful project and to the entire team for their dedication and amazing work! 👏

🎬 This was our first time creating an anime-style animation, and it was a real challenge! 🚀 We're proud to be part of the team that helped strengthen the SUN YAN brand with new flavors and packaging.

🎬 A new animated short film, DEADLINE, is now in production at Meinart Animation Studio! 🤩 We’re thrilled to have received production funding from the Lithuanian Film Centre for this project. 🇱🇹 The film is being directed by our studio’s art director, Gabija Visockaite, making it her directorial debut. 👏

⭐⭐⭐ Exciting times ahead—congratulations to Gabija and the team! A big thank you to the Lithuanian Film Centre for the support!

⭐️ “The Perfect Fit” on Disney+

🤩 We are proud to announce that our animated short film, “The Perfect Fit,” has become the first Lithuanian animated film to be featured on Disney+, a platform that’s home to some of the most iconic names in storytelling – Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more.

✨ This achievement is not only a dream come true for our studio but also an exciting step forward for Lithuanian animation on the global stage.

🌎 “The Perfect Fit” has been a journey of creativity, collaboration, and perseverance. From its premiere at the Sydney Film Festival to screenings at Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, London International Animation Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, and many others worldwide, the film has traveled far.

🧡 We are deeply honored that this story – crafted with heart and passion – found its place alongside some of the greatest works of animation.
