The one and only KAOSRITUAL!
Black magic, chaos, dungeons and bloody murder. Those are some of the words that come to mind hearing their 2007 album “Svøpt Morgenrød”. Even though the band was pretty short lived in that name (reformed in 2012 as Dark Sonority), the sound of it was absolutely powerful and raw, dragging us by the guts with it’s purely 90’s sounding riffs and almost hypnotic synths opening up a thick velvet curtain into an unholy ritual. Lucky are those who got a chance to see this all live.

I recently stumbled across this fantastic picture of the band and could not resist drawing it.

This page is an homage to the genre and it’s remarkable acts, through the perspective of someone who grew up and got shaped as a person with the burning passion for Black Metal and it’s ideology.
