PP 135 BORA - Spit Into Kismet's Face LP    PRE-ORDER

Spit Into Kismet’s Face is a powerful and emotionally charged hardcore/punk album originaly released in 2005 by the Lithuanian band Bora, hailing from Vilnius. Known for their intense and chaotic sound, Bora blends elements of modern hardcore with raw political energy and poetic expression.

The album contains 13 tracks that delve into themes such as identity, personal struggle, political resistance, and social norms. Songs like "Insecure Heterosexuality" and "Spontaneity as the Biggest Shortfall of Our Times" showcase the band's lyrical depth and critical stance on societal expectations and internal conflict.

Bora’s music on this album is characterized by aggressive vocals, intricate guitar work, and dynamic song structures that constantly shift in rhythm and tone. The emotional intensity is matched by thoughtful, often philosophical lyrics that challenge both personal and collective boundaries.

This release stands out not only for its sound but for its message — a confrontational, unapologetic statement against fate, passivity, and conformity. Spit Into Kismet’s Face is more than just an album; it’s a call to action, a reflection of discontent, and a piece of underground music history from Eastern Europe.

The LP is pressed in 200 copies. Each record comes with a double-sided insert featuring graphics and lyrics.
