🚩FESTIVAL SELECTION !

Happy to share and announce the selection of "DRACULA" by Romanian director Radu Jude in competition at Locarno Film Festivall !

Supported by the Cineworld scheme of the Film Fund Luxembourg, "DRACULA" is a joint coproduction between Paul Thiltges Distributions (Paul Thiltges & Adrien Chef) and Samsa Film (Jani Thiltges).

Producers include : Saga Film (Romania) and Nabis Film Group (Austria).

International sales are managed by Luxbox Films.

It's not the first involvement of Luxembourg in Radu Jude's works after "Kontinental 25" (2025), awarded with the Berlinale Silver Bear for Best Script, "Bad Luck Banging or Loony P**n" (2021), awarded with the Golden Bear and "Do not expect too much from the end of the world", also selected in 2023 official competition at the Locarno Film Festival where it won the Special Prize of the Jury.

Radu Jude is a leading Romanian filmmaker known for his provocative, genre-bending works that blend dark humor with social and historical critique.
"DRACULA" is an audacious and irreverent take on the vampire myth, continuing Jude’s bold exploration of form and storytelling. Congrats to everyone involved !

📣MARKET SELECTION !

Happy to share this good news !

"MAYA BUTTERFLY", Edwina Casey's debut feature we are developing thanks to the join support of Film Fund Luxembourg and Screen Ireland (Co-development Fund for female and non-binary filmmakers) has been selected to take part to the Venice Gap-Financing Market of the Venice Production Bridge program.

The program, including 54 selected projects, is part of the La Biennale di Venezia and will take place from August, 28th to September, 3rd.

The Venice Gap-Financing Market will offer projects from Europe and around the world the opportunity to close their international financing, through one-to-one meetings with international decision-makers.
It has become a key event for the Film industry.

The film is co-developed by Bernard Michaux with the main producers, Dublin based Hail Mary Pictures.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Michel Bergmann, a remarkable author.

We were honored to be part of bringing one of his works, "Die Teilacher" & "Machloikes", to the screen, directed by Sam Garbarski, under the title "Es war einmal in Deutschland" ("Bye Bye Germany").

With "Die Teilacher"/"Machloikes", Michel Bergmann gave voice to the invisible and infused post-war stories with humor, tenderness, and truth.

💻📚🗒Bernard Michaux is one of the 20 selected participants to the 2025 edition of the Inside Pictures program, audiovisual business training initiative.

Inside Pictures consists of three one-week modules, from June 2025 to January 2026. It will be delivered in-person in London and Los Angeles..

Participants will be taught tools and insights to meet the challenges of the industry.
