🌟 Grateful to American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (AMCHAM) 🇱🇺 for an inspiring networking breakfast this morning! ✨🌟

I had the pleasure of engaging with the ever-approachable and friendly Minister of Economy, SME, Energy, and Tourism, Lex Delles, who has always a smile and is always open to meaningful conversations. It was also wonderful to reconnect with Paul Schonenberg, President of AMCHAM Luxembourg, after some time.

During my conversation with the Minister, I had the opportunity to exchange some thoughts on the challenges faced by independent professionals in Luxembourg. I had also the chance to share some of my latest communication projects and upcoming communication initiatives 💫🌈🍀.

For his part, the Minister provided attendees with valuable insights, especially regarding the financial support available to companies, with a focus on independent professionals and SMEs.

A huge thank you to AMCHAM for this excellent gathering, complete with a warm cup of coffee ☕️, a cappuccino & a slice of pizza 🍕—all of which made this networking breakfast truly original and memorable 😉👏✨.

Another school year is coming to an end, and it is with great enthusiasm that I celebrate the journey of my 23 students, most of whom are Luxembourgish, who have dedicated themselves to learning Portuguese and who will soon receive their certificates from the Landakademie Institute.

But you might ask: why is there so much interest in learning Portuguese in Luxembourg 🇱🇺 ⁉️

➡️ The Portuguese represent the first foreign community, with 13.5% of Luxembourg's population and 90,915 nationals, according to STATEC studies 📉. For this reason, both public and private institutions need employees who speak Portuguese in order to communicate with their clients. But, curiously, it is the Luxembourgers themselves who take the initiative to sign up in order to be able to communicate with their Portuguese audience.

Most of my trainees are childcare workers, occupational therapists, bank employees, retired people who want to move to Portugal, municipal employees, even policemen.

The last class is always special: I organize it in a Portuguese restaurant, where I agree with all the staff that the only language to be spoken is the language of Camões 🇵🇹, there's no room for other ones. The thematic lesson “How to order in a restaurant” 🍽️ challenges the students to test their knowledge, otherwise, as I warn them, they make diet 😅. It's a fun, convivial and playful way to end the 25 lessons of the school year.

I've been teaching Portuguese 🇵🇹 in Luxembourg for 10 years now, and more than 220 trainees have passed through my classes. Year after year, it continues to be a rewarding challenge and a source of great pride to hand to students, who become friends, their graduation certificates👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓.

However, this year was particularly exhausting for me: teaching three courses in the evening, various levels, 2 hours x 3 days a week, driving 🚙 a lot after exhausting working days... it was hard. Now I feel relieved and with a sense of accomplishment.

Thank you life, for such positive feedback and for the sincere recognition of my dedication and affection for teaching Portuguese in my host country. Vilmolls merci 🙏🤩✨!

I am very proud to announce that I have initiated, in February, a regular collaboration as a Freelance Journalist with Forbes Luxembourg and Silicon Luxembourg (Ventures Media).

My inaugural contribution to Forbes features an insightful and revealing interview with Clara Moraru, President of the Union of Independent Workers, shedding light on the significant challenges and concerns confronting independent workers in the Grand Duchy, along with potential avenues for resolution.

I am certain that this work collaboration marks the culmination and recognition of a challenging and evolving journey in the realms of communication and journalism.
