It’s great to see UF students forming bands together while they’re currently in school. ESCAPE FROM THE GREY are a newly formed band of peers that play some really interesting , experimental rock ala’, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART, RADIOHEAD, BRIAN ENO. Cool stuff!

The one and only, Gainesville FL ska-punk royalty rockers, LESS THAN JAKE returned to LWS to rehearse for the always amazing , annual WAKE N BAKE weekend. Thanks for the great time in the studio, at the shows and for your, delicious new line of (First Mag ) beer! Till next year! 🍻

An absolute local legend, expert guitarist and musician, RICHY STANO was in with his talented band to rehearse for some upcoming gigs. In his 55 years of playing, his resume of musical accomplishments is truly unbelievable. A real pleasure having him in. Look him up if you’re in need of guitar lessons! 🎸🎸🎸

Always so much fun having local punkers, P**S TEST in the studio with us to capture their raw and catchy , Rock n Roll ! They knocked out a slew of tunes and it sounded great. Original PT guitarist, Mike McCoy (pictured far left) recently retired from music and we’ll miss him and want to wish him all the best! 🎸 🥁 🌪️

We were happy to have the opportunity to get ALEX WILLOW in the studio to lay down some of his, great eclectic - original music. We’re looking forward to seeing where this project goes and to catch him live this summer. Nice job, Alex! 🎸

The ever awesome, legendary, South Florida punk rock band QUIT were in over the last weekend to rehearse and to get ready to record some brand new material sometime in the near future! Formed in 1988 through skateboarding and surfing, they took cues from classic bands such as, DOUGHBOYS, The REPLACEMENTS , SNFU and DESCENDENTS. With excellent musicianship, very well put together songs and amazing live shows, it’s no wonder they carry such a legacy to this very day…not to mention, they’re such great humans. More updates soon! “Yeah! QUIT!”

It’s a perfect day to come over to Swamp Head Brewery and check out SWAMP FEST 17! We’re running sound and hanging out! 7 bands, food and cold beer. It’s going on until 8pm tonight, hope to see you out and about! 🍻 🎸 🥁 BANDS : MIKE LLERENA, GLOAMING, UNSCRIPTED, NEVERLESS, DISCORD THEORY, THE BITTERS, RECKLESS GIANTS.

We had GLOAMING in recording for a really fun 3 day session. Very well done pop inspired punk with a bite that fans of 7SECONDS, ALL, MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK or RANCID would surely enjoy. Excellent players and really great guys. Make sure you catch them live next time they play out and keep an ear out for this new release!
