👩🏽‍🔬 Girls: Deploy Your Talents! Kick-off conference
To open the conference, our colleague Emeline Petit shared a state of play on women in IT in Europe and in Luxembourg, drawing on key insights from the 2024 study conducted with the Ministère de l‘Égalité des genres et de la Diversité. The discussion highlighted persistent gaps, stereotypes, and the urgent need to change mindsets to build a more inclusive digital future.

The rest of the conference featured a panel discussion on gender stereotypes, how education can encourage more girls to pursue STEM careers, and the crucial role of public, private, and non-profit actors in changing mindsets.

On 20 November, the WIDE ANDCO team was present at MegaLab the annual event for youth organised by Ministère de l‘Égalité des genres et de la Diversité🙌

During our workshops, students and pupils explored:
💬 Stereotypes in tech professions
🤖 The impact of AI on career paths
🧩 And above all: they stepped into the shoes of different tech profiles to better understand their challenges... and imagine concrete solutions for a more inclusive sector.

It was a meaningful moment of reflection, exchange and creativity 💡
