Šodien "Studija kokles" producente Sniedze Kāle piedalās Ansī MIFas sadaļā "Satiec festivālus", lai vairākus kuratorus iepazīstinātu ar topošajām filmām: Kārļa Vītola pilnmetrāžas animācijas filmu "Ziemeļu zvaigzne" un Ellas Mežules debiju "Paisuma daba".

Today, Sniedze Kāle, producer at “Studija Kokles,” is participating in the Annecy Mifa section “Meet the Festivals” to present two upcoming films to several festival curators: The Northern Star, a feature-length animated film by Kārlis Vītols, and The Nature of Tide, the debut work by Ella Mežule.

"Ziemeļu zvaigzne" ir iekļuvusi animācijas izdevumā "The European Animation Journal" ( #01/2025). Pateicamies žurnāla redakcijai un raksta autorei Serēnai Previderei par īpašo uzmanību mūsu filmai, kas izcelta starp 55 Cartoon Movie prezentētajiem projektiem.

"The Northern Star" has been featured in the animation publication The European Animation Journal ( #01/2025). We are grateful to the editorial team and the article's author, Serena Previdere, for the special attention given to our film, which has been highlighted among the 55 projects presented at Cartoon Movie.

Liels paldies pasākuma organizatoriem un Latvijas lieliskajai komandai, kas ar pilnu atdevi rūpējās par to, lai mūsu valsts delegācija būtu tik pamanāma! Latvijas Animācijas asociācija, Kino centrs, Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra - LIAA

Pagāja četri gadi, līdz varējām praksē pielietot CEE Animācijas darbnīcā gūtās zināšanas un pirmo reizi prezentēt projektu uz lielās skatuves. Paldies mūsu iedrošinātājam un sesijas vadītājam Deividam Matamorosam, kurš bija kopā ar mums šajā īpašajā brīdī!

A photo retrospective of last week's "The Northern Stars" presentation at the CARTOON Movie forum together with Claire Matz (Yabunousagi ). Huge thanks to the event organizers and the incredible Latvian team, whose dedication and effort ensured our country's delegation stood out!

It took four years until we could finally put into practice the knowledge gained at the CEE Animation Workshop and present our project on the big stage for the first time. A big thank you to our encourager and session leader David Matamoros, who was with us in this special moment!

In just a week, on March 5th at 16:30, we invite everyone to the Bordeaux Cartoon Movie session in the purple hall, where we will present The Northern Star from the big stage!
