We're thrilled to announced that the short film H61 directed by Rūta Ronja Pakalne is included in the programme DANSE(S) and is going to be screened tomorrow, on 16th May in Paris at the festival Les Rencontres Choregraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint Denis together with 8 other short dance films from Ireland, Poland, Taiwan, Greece, Quebec, Denmark, Italy, Ukraine.

This international curatorship organised by Forum des instituts culturels étrangers à Paris unveils a powerful theme: the human being in a permanent struggle.

Exciting News from When East Meets West!

We at Air Productions are delighted to announce that the film project THREE MOTHERS has been recognised as one of the winners of the Italian-Baltic Awards! 🎉

We are delighted to have met the team at Joelefilm and director Enrico Lando, who invited us to join them on this journey as minority co-producers.
Together we aim to bring to life a thriller that explores pressing and contemporary themes: the clash between tradition and progress, the fight against homophobia, the interplay between matriarchy and feminism, respect for nature and the profound connection between mothers, both human and animal.

Thank you PÖFF Shorts! It was a blast!

We were happy to present our short films to the audience in Tallinn in two programmes.
The dance short film "H61" by director Rūta Ronja Pakalne and the dance short film "Drama King" by director Valērijs Oļehno (both part of "Dance Plus City") were shown in the programme Dance Films: Bodyspace.
"Confession of My Childhood Body" by Emīlija Karetņikova took part in the Shorts New Talents competition.

2020. gadā klajā nāca Dāvida Vikmaņa grāmata “Roņpils. Purva stāsts” (izdevniecība JĀNIS ROZE). Drīz pēc tam sākām strādāt pie filmas scenārija cerībā, ka, grāmatas iedvesmots, tas reiz realizēsies filmā.
Nu šī cerība ik kļuvusi jau nedaudz tveramāka - arī mūsu filmas “Kad Tīne un Bīne satika Juhanu” ražošanai Nacionālais Kino centrs piešķīris finansējumu. Tas ir pamatīgs solis, lai filma nonāktu uz ekrāniem. Nu jāpārliecina arī vairāku citu valstu kinofinansētāji, lai kopā ar dvīņumāsām Tīni un Bīni un citiem neredzamo puiku Juhanu varam doties uz Purva pasauli.

In 2020, the book "Roņpils. Purva stāsts" was published. Soon after, we started working on a film script in the hope that, inspired by the book, it would one day become a film.
Now this hope has become a little more tangible - the National Film Centre has granted funding for the production of our film "Secrets of the Great Bog". This is a major step for the film to reach the screens. Now we also need to convince film financiers in several other countries so that we can join the twin sisters Tīne and Bīne and the other invisible boy Juhan in their adventures in the Bogworld.
