The idea came from a problem we know very well at MCTV: sports broadcasts are becoming more accessible, but operating them still requires a lot of repetitive manual work.
We wanted to change that.
Instead of building integrations for individual scoreboard manufacturers and controllers, ScoreReader works from the one thing almost every sports venue already has a visible scoreboard.
And we’ve just made one of our biggest leaps yet:
ScoreReader now works with OBS Studio, alongside its existing vMix support.
This opens scoreboard automation to a much wider world of sports production, from one-person OBS streams and local clubs to leagues, federations, tournaments and professional broadcast companies.
ScoreReader is already finding its way into real productions across Europe and the United States, and we’re only getting started.
