Audible asked us to promote their family content with a campaign especially highlighting the unique listening experience and focusing on the fantastic worlds users can dive into when listening to Audible audiobooks, podcasts and originals.

That's when we decided to make a film featuring a young girl and her parents traveling through fantastic worlds sitting on her sofa enjoying Audible stories. Or is she just traveling using her imagination?

In the film “Sofa Travel” we follow our main protagonist, little Mara, through five fantastic worlds all created using and brought to life by a 32 meter curved 180° LED wall. Enhanced by beautifully crafted set building, wardrobe and art department. A team of 60 people created 5 worlds in 15 hours.

Our virtual production took place in the stunning LED Unit Riga.

Every move of Arthur is watched by the limousine's jealous artificial intelligence MO. Arthur distracts MO by telling jokes to avoid activating the emotion control device.

What a fun ride the LED Unit team had last year - Creating Unreal backgrounds that integrated the clients artwork into a futuristic city that we could ride a Roller Coaster through! With the cast sitting on a sofa, attached to a gimbal that could mimic real world movements, paired with an animated virtual camera that flew through the world at high speed. The end result was a perfect playground to explore camera angles and movements that fulfilled the filmmakers wishes and dreams.
