Rīgas Skaņu Ierakstu Studija

Rīgas Skaņu Ierakstu Studija Riga Sound Recording Studio is located in Old City Riga in a church built in 1733. During 1980's it was rebuilt specially for recording purposes.

As a recording studio it was used from late 1960's for USSR record label Melodiya Riga branch.

Invitation to the Recording Day at Riga Music Week!

This year on November 7, a special recording session will take place at the Riga Sound Recording Studio, and visitors are welcome to watch it live.

The audience is kindly invited to take a behind-the-scenes look at the recording process, ask questions, and experience how music is created together with outstanding Latvian artists and sound professionals.

The event is organized by Sonarworks and hosted by Josh Rogosin — a world-renowned sound engineer and producer, best known as the sound master behind NPR Tiny Desk Concerts and Global Sound Concerts.

Josh will be assisted by Dāvis Megi.

Recording Schedule:
• 10:00–11:30 – Shipsea
• 12:00–13:30 – Very Cool People (soundcheck)
• 14:00–15:00 – ZeMe
• 15:00–16:00 – Very Cool People (recording)
