Burası aslında İtalyan döneminde inşa edilen eski Tripoli Katedrali. Şehrin tarihine tanıklık eden bu görkemli yapı, bağımsızlık sonrası camiye dönüştürülerek Cemal Abdünnâsır’ın adıyla anılmaya başlandı.
Bugün hem Algeria Square Mosque hem de Cemal Abdünnâsır Camii olarak bilinen bu yapı, Tripoli’nin kültürel mirasının en etkileyici izlerinden biri.
