Found my absolute happy place in the jungle.
Finally made it down (and up!) to the incredible Double-Decker Living Root Bridge. 🌿 Instead of just crossing, I decided the best way to experience this 150-year-old marvel was to just... lie down.
Looking straight down at the water flowing below, with roots intertwined all around and above me—there’s a different kind of peace here that you only find deep in the Meghalaya jungle. If you’re planning this trip, trust me, you need to stop and feel this connection. ✨

Sun-drenched and surrounded by endless green! 🌲☀️

Taking a midday pause here at Horsley Hills, and the view of the neighboring peak is absolutely stunning. There's something incredibly grounding about looking out over this vast, vibrant forest canopy. Even with the sun straight overhead, the rolling hills and deep emerald valleys create a perfect sense of calm against the rugged stone of the distant summit.

It’s a brilliant reminder to step back, breathe in the crisp hill-station air, and just appreciate the wild, natural beauty waiting to be explored right in our own backyard. ⛰️🍃
