𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

The Sustainable Development Department in collaboration with The American School of Benguerir organized the 2nd edition of the Eco Heroes initiative.

Through 4 sustainability sessions, the sustainable development ambassadors engaged with 106 students across kindergarten, primary, and middle school levels.

Each session focused on different sustainability themes, delivering interactive learning experiences. The curriculum covered key topics including Sustainable Development , Life on Land and Change, Clean and Renewable , and the Cycle and Conservation.

These hands-on sessions allowed our ambassadors to lead engaging educational activities while enabling children to learn through an interactive and experiential approach. The program successfully combined education with entertainment, making sustainability concepts accessible and enjoyable for young learners.

Wrapping up our first Sustainability Week with creativity and music!

Our final day brought the successful conclusion of Plant It Forward, Pictalty Auction, Cooperatives Fair, and Creative Exposition. The day was enriched by a sculpture workshop and concluded with a vibrant concert by Leet Music Band a perfect finale to this inspiring week.

To everyone who participated, organized, and collaborated: your commitment and enthusiasm made this inaugural edition truly remarkable. Thank you for being part of this sustainable journey.

Our President, Mr. Hicham El Habti, joined the initiative, leading by example in our efforts.

We celebrated two inaugural ceremonies: the launch of the UM6P Shop and , our new professional attire lending project that advances circular economy in campus.

The day was further enriched by the launch of the and the , the closing session of the , while the continued to showcase innovation.

day 2 was full of creativity and collaboration!

Students and staff got hands-on at our upcycling workshop, transforming everyday waste into unique works of art. We also hosted a Climate Fresk workshop allowed staff members to gain deeper insights into climate emergency challenges and solutions. The newly opened UM6P Go Plant welcomed everyone to explore its collection of plants, and the creative exposition created by our talented students was truly inspiring. The day wrapped up with our at AITTC, furthering our commitment to a greener tomorrow.
