🎉 We are thrilled to announce that Darkside Records has officially signed LOST INSEN ! 🇹🇳
🌌 LOST INSEN Bio :
Formed in 2005 under the name Brainstorming as a Dream Theater cover band, LOST INSEN evolved into a progressive metal powerhouse after brothers Karim Bouazra (guitar) and Fadhel Bouazra (keyboards) joined in 2008, alongside founding bassist Yessine Belghith, vocalist Amine Hassine, and drummer Amine Fekih.
In 2011, the band opened for Symphony X (then fronted by Khalil Saied) and began working on their debut album. On February 9, 2014, they released Here After, featuring Spanish vocalist Oscar Zubelzu (Urbandux, Letters to Lola) and Mehdi Braham on drums.
The name LOST INSEN is a symbolic fusion of cultures — “Lost” representing wandering or searching, and “Insen” (إنسان), the Arabic word for human.
Their sound is a mix of heavy riffs, melodic choruses, and progressive rock intricacies, wrapped in deeply emotional storytelling.
🎶 Notable influences include: Dream Theater, Symphony X, Porcupine Tree, and Opeth.
🔥 The Rebirth
After 10 years of hiatus, the band has returned from the shadows stronger than ever — marking a bold new chapter with the addition of Marko Balabanovic as lead vocalist. His arrival brought fresh energy and a powerful new voice to the band’s identity.
In early 2025, LOST INSEN released the single "ONE OF US" — a musical statement proving their place in the Tunisian metal scene and reigniting their creative journey. This release doesn’t just mark a comeback — it’s the rebirth of LOST INSEN.
