Together with Catharsis, we have made the decision to move the release of Mors Et Moriens to a later date. This choice was not taken lightly, but both the band and Darkside Records believe the album deserves more time to fully reveal its power and vision.

Mors Et Moriens is not just an album, it’s a journey. The shadows still need time to take form, and by giving it this space, the band ensures the experience will be as profound and intense as it was meant to be.

Formed with the vision of pushing the boundaries of the regional metal scene, Zaeer combines thunderous riffs, driving rhythms, and powerful atmospheres that resonate with audiences seeking authenticity and intensity.

In 2025, Zaeer released their debut EP “El Bedaya” (“The Beginning”), a statement of identity and intent that highlights their unique voice within the global metal community. Known for their explosive live shows, Zaeer has built a reputation for turning every performance into an unforgettable experience—an eruption of energy that brings fans together under the banner of heavy music.

Anemoya:
Anemoya rises from Cairo’s underground, weaving Progressive metal with gothic influences into a sound of crushing riffs, soaring melodies, and cinematic tension. Akram Soliman (vocals), Khaled El Nahas and Kareem El Sharabasy (guitars), Moustafa Nazir (bass), and Yassin Bahgat (drums) channel tales of personal battles and fractured identity. Asmodeus, co-founder and eternal backbone, has carried the weight of the band with his dark and thunderous fretless bass. Every note he forges is serpentine, crushing, and unshakable — the very foundation of our sound.

By his side, Malphas, architect and principal composer, has long shaped the identity of Antiquus Infestus through his guitar. Today, he takes on a new mantle — stepping to the front as the voice of Antiquus Infestus. With vision and authority, he will channel our spirit through words and roar, guiding the band into its next era.

But the fire demands more strength. And so, new blood enters the circle.

Pontius brings with him the storm. Known for his sharp precision and relentless energy, his drumming has shaken the underground metal scene and carved his name in projects where force and chaos reign. Now, behind the drums of Antiquus Infestus, his warhammer strikes will fuel our sound with unyielding intensity, driving it further into the abyss.

Beleth arrives wielding six strings like a blade. A guitarist forged through years of live and studio battles, he is recognized for his razor-sharp technique and his ability to unleash solos that slice with surgical rage.
