*The Weight of Debt: A Mother's Unseen Struggle*
As I juggle multiple projects, freelance gigs, and business ventures, the world sees a busy entrepreneur, but they don't see the tears, the stress, and the overwhelming pressure to pay off debts. Being a mother of two, with a baby less than a year old, adds to the challenge. I'm constantly fighting to balance finances, pay bills, support my family, and invest in my future.
People assume that because I'm working hard, I'm financially stable. But they don't see the mountain of debt I'm trying to climb. The loans, the credit cards, the money owed to loved ones – it's a crushing weight that keeps me up at night. I feel like I'm drowning in responsibility, with no lifeline in sight.
Every day, I'm haunted by thoughts of how I'll pay off my debts. I'm doing everything I can – working long hours, taking on extra projects, and sacrificing my own needs for the sake of my family. But it's never enough. The stress is suffocating, and the mental health toll is real. Some days, it feels like I'm barely holding on.
I've made mistakes, invested in things that didn't pan out, and lent money to people who never paid me back. But I'm not one to run from responsibility. I'm determined to face my challenges head-on, no matter how daunting they seem. I just need time – time to breathe, time to recuperate, and time to rebuild.
To those who are struggling like me, I see you. I feel you. Don't give up, even when it feels like the weight is too much to bear. Keep pushing forward, one step at a time. And to those who aren't struggling, be kind, be understanding. You never know what battles someone might be fighting behind closed doors.
*Lesson to Ponder:* Debt is not just a financial burden; it's an emotional one too. Let's be more empathetic towards those who are struggling and offer support when we can.
