New Remix Hak A Mama Issmmah Remixes
"Hak a Mama" is a melody and song from the Moroccan Hebrew heritage, sung by generations. Its lyrics are a love story crafted into a poetic ode, embodying a tale of love, sacrifices, constraints, and innocence between lovers.
The word "Hak" in Moroccan dialect means "take," and "Mama" was a term used to describe beauties and virgins in the cities of ancient Morocco.
The song was recorded by Moroccan Jewish singer Zahra Al Fassia in the 1930s. It was brought to the stage by Taieb Saddiki in the play "Al Harraz" by Nass El Ghiwane in 1971.
