Day 26 📍San Sebastián

This is our 3rd visit and every time we have visited it has been cloudy! 🌥️

Nevertheless the moody skies are quite dramatic against the backdrop drop of this epic beach front. 🏖️

What we really come for though, is the crazy amount of pinxtos bars. Our favourite is Antonia Bar where they sell the most delicious tortilla - gooey, egg and potato with caramelised onions. 🧅

We had to queue for 45 minutes but we got in just in time before they ran out!

Afterwards we headed to La Vina - the basque cheesecake is to die for. 🍰

Love this place, but it is absolutely packed with tourists. 😲

When in 📍San Sebastián, cheese cake is a MUST and this was the BEST we have ever tasted 🧀🥮 @ La Viña

Day 25! 📍Zaragoza

It was hot, hot, hot 🥵 39 degrees! Nevertheless we had a lovely wander around Spain’s 4th largest city and especially enjoyed Plaza del Pilar with its incredible water feature.

We headed to an icecream shop to cool down and after a quick mooch in the market caught the very cool tram 🚊 back to our free aire for the night.

It was still 36 degrees in the Moho at midnight and that confirmed we needed to get an air con unit! Next stop a campsite as after 2 days at free stops we need a shower!💧

Day 24 📍Cavas Nadal, Torrelavit, Catalonia

The day started badly with Janna spilling her entire cup of coffee over the bed which isn’t ideal when your trying to leave a campsite! 🙈

After that things improved dramatically as our stop was the very beautiful Cavas Nadal - a free overnight at a vineyard.🍾

It was a very hot 36 degrees so we waited until it was a bit cooler and cracked open a bottle of their finest, which was absolutely delicious. 😋

We’re such connoisseurs we paired it with a cheese and ham pizza! 🍕😂

The light on the vines was spectacular and it was just us and this view. One of our favourite spots so far. 🩷

Day 23 in 📍Sitges, Barcelona

I feel like I’m being repetitive, but Sitges is another beautiful coastal town. It is steeped in history, yet has a surprisingly homely feel 🏠.

Our campsite was a gorgeous 30 minute walk through millionaires row then along the promenade into a very Spanish feeling old town. 🏘️

Last night we ambled in at sunset as the light, coupled with the beautiful 19th century architecture overlooking the Mediterranean is stunning and it didn’t disappoint. ⛪️

This place is a great night out, but after a little too much the night before (!), we enjoyed wandering along the empty beaches with an icecream back to the campsite. ⛺️ 🩵

Ps Nice to meet you 👋 and thank you for the cerveza 🍻

Day 22 was move day! And, as it turns out, a day of fails! 🤣

We finally left the town with the funny name and got shouted at by the man next door for leaving our engine running - epic fail! 🚐

We were meant to travel 215km north to 📍Sitges, just south of Barcelona, but missed our turning on the motorway so I think it might have been quite a bit more…. 2nd fail! 😩

We arrived at Hola Camp Sitges having realised that I booked the wrong dates and should have been there the day before. 🙈

Anyway, we then watched a poor French man hit his van 3 times whilst trying to park and realised our fails were not that bad. 🤣

The pool at this campsite is lovely and the warmest yet of our trip. It’s surrounded by some gorgeous palm trees. 🌴 I love the shadows they make and the gentle swishing in the wind.💛

Day 21 was a sunrise to remember in 📍Peñiscola, Spain 🇪🇸. Just us and this 🫶!

I mean we didn’t really sleep 💤 waiting for the alarm to go off, but my word the beauty of this beach, the light and the gentle rhythm of the sea was certainly worth the early wake-up 🌅. One of the most romantic spots of our trip 🧡.

Who would you like to share this sunrise with? Comment or send to someone you love…❤️

Day 20 in 📍Peñiscola

We should have left by now to head further north to discover the Delta Ebre, but a management decision was taken that we are loving the chilled out days, so we decided to stay for another couple of days 💛.

That’s the beauty of . It also means we can have a couple of no spend days which will help us fill the tank for the last leg of the journey home 🏠.

I love the beauty of the simple blue and white colours in these photos - I can’t seem to get enough of taking these sea /beach shots especially against the backdrop of this town’s gorgeous white-washed streets 💙🤍.

Day 19 in 📍Peñiscola, Valencia

The name of this place has obviously caused our childish brains much hilarity, but despite this, we really love this place 🧡.

It has a very laid back, relaxed vibe, but that could be due to the fact that the average age of visitors here appears to be over 65 👵.

We tried to eat out but we soon realised that one of the reasons it feels so ‘nice’ is that there’s quite a lot of money, 💰so after spending our entire meal budget on one crap tapas each we retreated to the safety of the local Aldi! 🛒.

Now we understand, we are enjoying the morning beach walks and chilling out at our campsite 🏕️…

P.s. All but one of these are Timothy’s photos so if you like them, make sure you give him a shout out in the comments 🩵
