The Cyclades Cup returns to Antiparos (10–13 June 2026) for its third edition, bringing an invitation-only fleet back to the heart of the Aegean. Limited to just 25 yachts, the regatta continues to define itself as one of the most exclusive events on the superyacht sailing calendar, organised in partnership with the Yacht Club of Greece.

🌊 On the water, the Meltemi sets the tone as the fleet races between Antiparos and Paros, delivering true Cycladic sailing conditions and a refined competitive spirit.

⛵ This year’s standout yachts include INOUI, MARI-CHA III, Wallywind110 GALMA, LA BELLE, and TAWERA, reflecting a rare mix of performance, heritage, and design excellence.

A New Giant for Ocean Exploration

Norwegian shipyard Vard has signed a landmark €700 million contract with Inkfish, co-founded by Gabe Newell, to build the groundbreaking 162-metre research vessel RV11000.

A key part of the project will be built at Vard Shipyards Tulcea in Tulcea, highlighting Romania’s growing role in some of the world’s most advanced maritime projects.

Designed for deep-ocean exploration down to 11,000 metres, RV11000 will feature cutting-edge research technology, the largest battery installation ever fitted on a ship, and accommodation for 130 scientists and crew.

Delivery is scheduled for 2030, marking a major milestone for both global ocean science and Romanian shipbuilding expertise.
