London(CNN)Britain's King Charles III has been crowned in a once-in-a-generation royal event that is being witnessed by hundreds of high-profile guests inside Westminster Abbey, as well as tens of thousands of well-wishers who have gathered in central London despite the rain.
The intricate coronation service followed a traditional template that has stayed much the same for more than 1,000 years.
The King took the Coronation Oath and became the first monarch to pray aloud at his coronation. In his prayer he asked to "be a blessing" to people "of every faith and conviction."

Every year April 23 is celebrated as UN English Language Day across the world. It is part of the 6 Language Days that have been recognized by the United Nations. Under the UN Language Days initiative, the UN celebrates six different days, dedicated to the organization’s six official languages. The purpose of United Nations Language Day is to promote multilingualism and cultural diversity. English is a language that brings people from different countries and cultures together. It acts as a link language.

There is also an important reason behind the celebration of English Day by the United Nations. This day marks the birthday of the great English language writer, William Shakespeare. On this day, English famous William Shakespeare was born and he also died on this day. Shakespeare wrote 38 plays in his lifetime.

The English language is believed to have originated in medieval England and is currently one of the most widely spoken languages ​​in the world.
