Forio is one of our favourite hidden gem near Naples. It is a tiny town on Ischia island where the sun sinks directly into the Mediterranean Sea. Spent our day around the cozy fishing port and getting lost in the narrow stone streets, admiring the bright bougainvillea and listening to the waves at Citara Bay. It’s the perfect blend of wild volcanic nature and classic Italian charm. Every corner feels like a postcard. The contrast of the blue sea against the historic towers is incredible. At Golden hour we went to the iconic white Chiesa del Soccorso while the sky turned pink, red, orange… To experience the sunset with a glass of Aperol spritz at the terrace was just magic!

Sant’Angelo is a little gem on the Island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples – a colorful fishing village perched between the sea and the rocks. White boats bob lazily in the bay, pastel facades shine in the sun, and the narrow cobblestone streets carry that inimitable Italian spirit that makes you fall in love at first sight. Must visit again and again.
