Naif DANCE Announces Second Release “Simulation”; A Cultural Convergence of Ancient Rhythms and Modern Pulse

Following their impactful debut with Zuri, Naif Dance returns on December 5 with Simulation, a deep, evocative Afro and Melodic House track that continues the label’s mission: blending cultural roots with contemporary sound.
Simulation meditates on what’s real in a world of illusion. Drawing from Anatolian emotional memory and layering it with hypnotic grooves, the track embodies a modern ritual: dance as both connection and transformation.
Naif Dance’s signature lies in its ability to forge emotional landscapes through rhythm, echoing the Ancient Rhythms of forgotten lands, now reimagined for today’s global dancefloor.

Independent music collective Naif Music Lab is proud to release its first project: the “Nurgül” EP, available on all platforms starting December 4.
Consisting of two brand-new tracks, Nurgül EP delivers a rich blend of Anatolian psychedelic rock infused with a modern global sound. Drawing inspiration from the emotional legacy of Anatolia, this debut explores urban life, solitude, and displacement, wrapped in the familiar warmth of retro 45rpm vinyl aesthetics.

Naif Music Lab, Türkçe Rap sahnesine güçlü bir giriş yapmaya hazırlanıyor. Yeni projesi Naif URBAN, 2 Aralık’ta çıkacak ilk çalışması “Dokuz Sekiz EP” ile dinleyiciyle buluşmaya hazırlanıyor.
Bu dört şarkılık EP; şehir hayatının yalnızlaştırıcı etkisi, bireyselleşmenin getirdiği içsel çatışmalar ve gurbet duygusunu ele alıyor. Naif URBAN, bu temaları evrensel müzikal dokularla buluştururken Anadolu’nun kadim duygusal mirasını da modern prodüksiyonlarla harmanlıyor.

KVRT focuses on various genres such as progressive house, dub, IDM, melodic, ethereal techno, ambient and electronica. His musical journey started with a classical guitar, then reshaped with electric guitar. After that years, he became interested in electronic dance music. He had learned playing with turntables, drum machines and performing extensively in cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Javea, Amsterdam. He shared the same stage with artists such as COYU, Husa & Zeyada, and many other talents. As the label head of Sub Records, he channels his vision into a platform creating progressively deep, progressive sounds with spatial audio visual experience, to push the boundaries of sound, create music that resonates with depth, intensity inner soul. He takes roles as resident DJ, producer and music director in Technoise Radio. He produces music by creating an atmospheric world on the axis of tech and modern synth sounds combined.

🤝🏽 Mertkan Erkan: Vocalist, Songwriter, and Stage & Screen Actor

Born in 1995 in Ankara, Mertkan Erkan graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History, and Geography, Department of Acting. He currently resides in Istanbul.

Mertkan has performed in several theatre productions, including “Jüri”, “Sıdıklı Kasabası Müzikali”, “Gece O Kadar Kirliydi Ki İkisi de Kayboldular”, and “Benimle Dans Eder Misin.”

He also starred in 26 episodes of the TV series “Konteynır Brothers.”
As a composer, he has created original songs for productions such as “Benim Varoş Hikayem” and “Çukur.”
His passion for music and close connection with instruments have been a part of his life since childhood, leading him to start writing lyrics and composing his own songs.

Mertkan released his debut single “Falanlar Fişmanlar” in 2018, followed by his first studio album “Yokuş” in 2020.

His musical style blends elements of Dark Pop and Hip Hop.
Since 2017, Mertkan Erkan has contributed to various film and television projects, sometimes with his music, and sometimes as an actor, and continues to pursue new artistic endeavors.
