With microcredentials to skilled workforce in Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia

In Tbilisi (Georgia), the initial meeting of the phase of skills needs assessment was held with 8 participating countries of the BEM Erasmus project, including Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. The BEM aims to develop microcredentials in accordance with the needs of the local labor market and employers. The innovative dimension of the approach is reflected in the fact that memoranda of cooperation will be signed with key employers, but also with institutions mandated to mediate on the labor market, and that based on their needs, employers will have the opportunity to influence the design of microcredentials, which in a later phase will be methodologically aligned and harmonized, in order to enable the persons who acquire them to recognize their learning throughout the European continent.

ETF has published the first call for joint research proposals. The call for joint research proposals is open until 28 February 2023. It covers a wide variety of approaches and topics related to skills anticipation and skills demand. The results will be published by the ETF and disseminated in the network's activities. Successful applicants will be given access to ETF data, matchmaking, peer review and editorial expertise.
