“The jury was impressed by the many originally designed and quality-made films. During a long and rich discussion, the awareness of the importance of understanding film – especially documentary film – as syncretic art: a medium whose strength comes from the unity of form and content, thematic frameworks and different elements of the film language was imposed. In the most created movies, direction, camera and editing make up an organic whole. This is the principle used by the jury in deciding on the awards. Therefore, the jury decided to award three awards - for best film, camera and editing - to a film that in its approach to the Bektas community in the village of Kanatlarci establishes a unique audio-visual cosmology, which comes from the spirit and culture of that particular community. It’s Stefan Malešević’s movie “Wings and Ground.” “ - the jury members said in the explanation.
