|| Among those killed in the attack by NSCN-IM and ZUF (K) this morning were Mr. Letkhongam Haokip, Secretary of KBC Gambih No. 7 Church, and his wife, Mrs. Tinmary Haokip, a member of the KBC Gambih No. 7 Women Work Committee. The couple were among three civilians killed when armed assailants allegedly attacked Loibol Khullen, a small Kuki village located near the Senapati–Kangpokpi border area. The attack also reportedly left seven houses burnt to the ground, causing widespread devastation in the village.

A devoted Christian couple committed to God's work, Mr. and Mrs. Haokip faithfully served both the church and their community. Their tragic deaths have left a profound void among family members, fellow believers, and the wider Kuki-Zo community.
