2016 was the year we went on a long term trip for the very first time 💚 We had our first overnight bus ride, felt like babies when we checked into our first hostel and like champions crossing our first border on foot. Oh and heard "Faded" blast through the speakers about a million times. No idea how things would've turned out if we hadn't decided to take this trip, but we think it’s safe to say we’d be very different people ✨

New York is great when you do all the must-sees. It's even better once you’ve ticked them off 🙌🏼

On our last days in NYC we ate our last slices of pizza 😭, found shelter from the rain at Hamilton's place (thanks man) and just walked around with slightly overpriced drinks in our hands (we heard that's the only way here).

Did our overpriced taxi from the bus stop to Rincon break down midway? Yes.

Did we have to take the 30 min taxi back to the bus stop because we forgot there's no ATM in Rincon? Yes.

Did the 5$ air mattress we found in a convenience store make up for all of it? YES.

Actually, the beauty of this place and the kindness of the locals did, but that sounds kinda soppy 🙃
