During a recent operation in Falam town, Chin State, Myanmar, two members of the Chin Brotherhood narrowly escaped being buried alive after a junta-led airstrike hit their base. Fellow comrades had to urgently dig them out from beneath the debris. Despite the life-threatening situation, video footage shows the two laughing off the close call, showcasing their resilience and camaraderie.

The Chin Brotherhood, in coordination with anti-junta resistance forces from Sagaing and Magway regions, successfully captured the junta’s 268th battalion base in Falam on April 7. This victory marked a significant step toward full control of Falam Township by the Chin National Defense Force (CNDF).
