Lushers, Iris van Herpen has once again blurred the line between fashion, science, and art. ✨🌌
At Paris Haute Couture Week, the Dutch couturier unveiled “Sonic Starquakes”, a collection inspired by vibrating stars, exploding supernovas, swirling galaxies, and the invisible energy that moves through the universe. Instead of simply recreating the cosmos, Iris transforms its hidden forces into breathtaking couture.
The true magic lies in the craftsmanship. One of the collection's standout creations, the ‘Helix Nebula gown’, is the first couture dress to incorporate plasma, the fourth state of matter that makes up the stars. Featuring hand-blown glass, illusion tulle, and glowing plasma, the dress even responds to the wearer's touch, making it feel almost alive.
Another highlight is 'Fractal Universe’, a gown charged inside a particle accelerator before the show. As the trapped energy naturally escaped, lightning-like patterns formed across the dress on their own, allowing nature itself to complete the final design.
Throughout the collection, more than 30,000 individually hand-blown glass spheres, laser-cut velvets, flowing chiffons, and sculptural carbon fibre come together to create silhouettes that appear to float between the human body and the universe.
With Sonic Starquakes, Iris van Herpen proves once again that couture isn't just about what we wear. It's about turning the impossible into reality. ✨💫

နောက်ထပ် Showstopper တစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ ‘Fractal Universe Dress’ ကိုတော့ Fashion Show မတိုင်ခင် Particle Accelerator ထဲမှာ Energy သွင်းထားခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီ Energy တွေ တဖြည်းဖြည်း ထွက်လာတဲ့အချိန် Dress ပေါ်မှာ မိုးကြိုးတန်းလို Pattern တွေ အလိုအလျောက် ပေါ်ပေါက်လာခဲ့ပြီး နောက်ဆုံး Design ကို သဘာဝတရားကိုယ်တိုင် အပြီးသတ်ဖန်တီးပေးခဲ့သလို ဖြစ်သွားတာက ဒီ Collection ရဲ့ အံ့ဩစရာအကောင်းဆုံး Moment တစ်ခုပါပဲ။
Collection တစ်ခုလုံးမှာတော့ Hand-blown Glass Sphere ပေါင်း ၃၀,၀၀၀ ကျော်၊ Laser-cut Velvet၊ ပျော့ပျောင်းတဲ့ Chiffon၊ Carbon Fibre နဲ့ အသေးစိတ်လက်ရာမြောက်တဲ့ Embroidery တွေကို ပေါင်းစပ်ဖန်တီးထားပြီး လူ့ခန္ဓာကိုယ်နဲ့ စကြဝဠာကြားက နယ်နိမိတ်ကို မှုန်ဝါးသွားစေတဲ့ Silhouette တွေကို ဖန်တီးထားပါတယ်။
